My friend's kids' dad works like 12 hours a day and gets Tuesday and Thursdays off. He's tired too, but he can't neglect his kids. Same should go for you. He shouldn't be neglecting you.
I don't think it's selfish, but if you want him to hear you, don't demand him to see you. Tell him how you feel and if he doesn't change something, then tell him to hit the road... Srsly, you deserve better than he can give.
