Hey! One of my favorite series ever is The Maximum ride series. It's by James Paatterson, and he's still working on the 6th book. It's mostly science fiction and it's about kids with avian DNA grafted on them. The have wings, hollow bones and super strength. It sounds weird, but it's actually really awesome! the first three books are the best! Any body read them or want to read them?

The Maximum Ride series is awesome. I cannot wait for Fang, the next one, to come out.

I read five of them. They were good for a little relaxation time. A bit childish, but that's how they were meant o be. Patterson's other books, on the other hand, include some of my favorites.

I couldn't stand the way the chapters were only 2-3 pages long. You'd just get into the story and then he'd switch. Drove me nuts.

I, at first thought it sounded real weird, but I gave it a chance. It's actually a good read. Though, they're some points I don't like. I agree with Maze353 about the chapter thing. That really got on my nerves also.

I really love the Maximum Ride series, I think they're written very well, and are very easy to read and get into. I liked the first three books the most, but I think book five would have to be up there too, as I loved how (spoilers) Max and Fang's realtionship just blossomed, and Max finally allowed herself to fall in love. Very much looking forward to book 6 smile

I own all except the forth book, they're freakin' awesome. I don't know anyone whose read them that didn't like them. Even a friend I have that hates reading likes them.
I agree, the first 3 books were the best, maybe it's because they're longer or just have more action.
