Okay, so I have some idea for fanfictions and I want to write, but I'm not sure if anyone would actually read them. Care to give me an opinion?
Number One:
Based on Phantom of the Opera
Christine rejects Erik, leaving him in a state of utter despair. However, years later, she comes back to the opera house searching for him. No, she doesn't want to reconcile with him or beg him to take her back. Instead, she has come on behalf of her surrogate mother, who is having some financial trouble. After some arguing, he agrees to part with some of his money and help Mama Valerius. However, Mama Valerius feels guilty about taking such a generous gift from a stranger.
Erik is a miserable old man with nothing to look forward to in his life and to who has never known love because of his deformity. Mama Valerius is a warm-hearted, aging woman who has lost her husband and who has a heart big enough to hold the world. A union will allow Madame Valerius to share Erik's wealth and finally have another man to take care of her. It will allow Erik the living, willing wife he has always wanted. Perhaps he will finally know what it is to be loved, as well.
Number Two:
I hate High School Musical on principle. It makes a mockery of the training and effort musical theatre and singing require. But, I find certain characters fun to mess around with.
The fandom is High School Musical
Troy and Gabriella make a complete mockery of musical theatre and everything it stands for. Mrs. Darbus knows it and the dedicated members of the drama club know it. Therefore, in the Spring Musical a small clique has formed in the drama club to ensure neither Troy nor Gabriella can possibly make it in.
More students are auditioning than ever before and Mrs. Darbus has selected a musical that requires singers with extensive training and actors with exceptional skill. She needs belters, classical sopranos, tenors with strong falsettos, and people with good, strong stage presences. Les Miserables. It will be spectacular.
However, when the school's Golden Duo audition and are not cast, their following of lackeys who fail to understand the intricacies of musical theatre are outraged. What is expected to be Mrs. Darbus's master piece is being threatened by sabatoge.
