well no. Or at least not until I GET into college xD LOLOLOLOLOL

but now here's what I gotta go:
complete the application (DUH)
college essay (I'm gonna start it this weekend)
Ask for my HS transcript (uh, the counselors are too busy now...)
Oh, I already sent my SAT scores! (YAY)
Ask for a waiver for the application (I can't pay 60 bucks D:< )
my deadline is...... march 15.
get an affidavit from Texas State (no ssn means SHITLOAD of paper works)
complete the FAFSA (they don't have the 2010-2011 appl. yet)
and apply for grants or state aid. (no ssn means no federal aid. and maybe student loans)

Hopefully, if all goes well. I would get my school (or most of it!) payed for and I shall live at campus. WOW I never really realized how much needed to be done. D:

Is it the same for you guys? I'm assuming you're Sempai... or someone from a different country. lolololol

Ooooh, I'm in college right now. Is my college different to your college? Because we get our degrees at university and stuff.

My girlfriend starts university next week (She's a year older than me), and she's going to Limerick in Ireland, because it's the third best art university in Europe...I live in England. LIFE SUCKS.

Yeah, we're the same age, right? I've gotta do the same things too, but I don't start school until next week. I've gotta get all my references and junk. But you've got to do so much more! I need to get my references, sort out my applications, do my portfolios (If I go to art university, I'm not sure yet) aaaand apply for grants. Wait, we don't get grants anymore, just student loans. I HATE THIS WORLD.

What are you thinking of studying?

Maybe the term "college" is the same way as it is used in Mexico and in England. Mexico's colleges can be high school but it's private so it's called a college and where you get a degree is called a university. BUT the USA has free public education, so when people graduate from high school, they pay for college and it's also referred as universities. SO COMPLICATED.

Well, right now I'm in High School. and when I get out, I hope I can go straight to a university.

REALLY? no grants? that sucks!

yes, we are the same age, sempai. lolol OH I'm a month older! amiright?

I want to get a BA on Communication Design. WHICH is kinda easier, since I don't have to be a freaking genius, but space is limited D:

Nope, it's different here. We have primary school, then we finish high school at sixteen. That's the end of compulsory education. After that, there's college for two years, where you finish at eighteen unless you decide to stay back. After that, we have university, where you get the degrees and junk. College is free, university is not.

Yeah, I thought you were. Is your birthday is December? Because that would make you two months older. And you seem more like a December person than January.

What does that involve? I'm thinking of either going into graphics design, fine art, journalism or creative writing.

that's so complicated! haha

Oh yeah! two months older.

hmm Communication design is how art communicates with people... kinda like telemarketing... but I want to be an editor of a fashion magazine. It's all art classes though C:

Si, my memory is actually incredible...The forgetfulness is just a ploy!

Ooooh. What are fashion magazines like? I'm too MANLY for them. Does it not only take one magazine to tell people what's fashionable? How come people don't just wear anything they like rather than choosing to restrict themselves to a certain type of clothing? Saying that, I wear button up shirts a lot, I guess. But that's because I like them!

I've been really into cooking lately. I really enjoy cooking. I think that after I've done what I wanted to do, I'd open a restaurant. I would like to read a food magazine...That would be so cool.

hahha you're an elephant!

hmmm... well no. I wear what I like and what looks good on me, but I like looking, and reading fashion magazines. They have good ideas on what innovation styles are in. Nah, not just one, there's TONS of fashion magazines. Though, Vouge is a really good one. Besides, fashion magazines have really good advises and tips on make up and color blending and stuff. XD

oh me too! haha I've been cooking often, and watching The Food Network Channel a lot. It's so interesting! I really like cooking. SO, I'm gonna bake some chocolate cupcakes and cook some lasagna, hopefully within the next two weeks.

gonk My hips aren't that big!

Ohhhh! You'll have to forgive my ignorance on the subject matter. I know nothing of these sorts of things. Yes...I shall take your recommendation on Vouge them! And I really need tips on my makeup.

Oh, you must be so skilled! My main skill is...Omelettes. I like making cheese and onion turnovers, too. Cooking is so much fun! I must buy Cooking Mama for my DS!

hahaha maybe, I doubt it.... I've cooked: spaghetti; scrambled eggs with chili, tomatoes, onions and ham; picadillo; and I helped my father bake cookies.

yeah, not very skilled xD
PostPosted: Sun Aug 30, 2009 10:24 am

Ooooh, I've cooked (and made) noodles, omelettes, cheese and onion turnovers (made my own pastry), I made a pizza, I've done pasta and my made the sauce fro raw ingredients, although my girlfriend helped me a lot with that, I've baked cookies and cupcakes!

I think soon, I'll buy my own pink sparkly oven mitts and apron saying "Kiss the cook"! I feel like I can act as gay as I want!

Oooooh, I'm gonig to see this band called Porcupine Tree live soon. Ever heard of them? They're british, and not mainsteam...Tada might know them. Where is that guy...?

Man, that's totally the worst part, because I don't get along with some of the teachers. I've got to do that soon.

I started school today. And it was so pointless...We sat in a large hall, then got our timetables, and they really sucked with mine. There's seven clashes, and for some reason they added in an extra subject that I don't even do.

FAFSA <3

I've been in college for a little while now. Just hate a few classes :3

It's only because the work is ridiculous and the teachers are whiny pricks.

OMG YOUR "l" ON YOUR WRITTEN REPORT IS PAST THE LINE! -5 POINTS!!

I swear to you.

And while I'm at it, I'll post this as my coming-back speech. So, HI! smile I know I've not been here for a while but I've been really busy with life. Trying to get myself situated. Moved.. again.. I'm back in NorthCarolina. I hated it when I was up here last because of where I was. The area I live now is nice. I love it, actually. I'm trying to find work and I'm working on school right now. Hella lots of stuff to do. Reports galore. Good luck with college everybody!
