Alright, everyone... As I'm sure you've guessed it, this is for you picture-happy PC-Gamers in the guild. Got some great screenshots that you'd just love to share? Post 'em here!
Out of respect for those of us with not-so-large resolutions, I do ask that you keep the size down to about 640 pixels wide if you're going to post the actual picture here. If you don't feel like trimming down the picture size, please post a link for the convenience of everyone taking a look.
And yes, this does mean that I have to trim down my own screenshots from Oblivion, which are at roughly a 1280x768 resolution.

Since I'm the lovely creator of the thread, I figured that I might as well drop in a couple of my own screenshots for your viewing pleasure. A more complete description of the images selected are available with the full-size image (click the thumbnails to get the full image). Oh, how I love caves sometimes... I walked in to see that and immediately took the shot. This one was nabbed by one of the main towns in the game; the far-off place in the middle of the screen is the capitol city of the province that Oblivion takes place in, and the city that you start in. Another shot of the same two cities. This is why I like the graphics of Oblivion, despite its being an older game.

Ha, Oblivion has been offered such high ratings in every game site. I'm a PC gamer, but the kind who doesnt play extreme games that needs a good graphic card. For that, i have the 360 and PS2 to work with. As of now, i play sadass games like Sims/Bully and Carmageddon. I'd kick in a few screenshots when i play the game again.

Well, the laptop that I'm using to play Oblivion isn't really even designed for gaming; it was more geared towards music and movies and such. Because of the age of Oblivion, basically as long as you have a newer computer with what would now be considered a halfway-decent video card, Oblivion should run pretty easily.
Game Booster helps tremendously with annoying lag, especially since I'm running Vista... unfortunately. The OS is such a memory hog that, by the time my computer finishes booting and I can actually do anything (and the few programs that I have set to load on startup are running), it's already using 45% of my 4GB of RAM. O.o Game Booster drops that to about 28-31%.

I have a laptop that's 6 years old. So hands down Oblivion ain't going to work. Have another laptop for work. And good games always occupy alot of ram and slows down the laptop. Damn i always wanted to play counter strike, counter strike, WoW and such, most of them i've only played in gaming centres. It's all virus safe in home PCs? o.O

It's all virus safe in home PCs? o.O Normally, yes- and, generally speaking, when game servers get pegged by viruses (which is incredibly rare), the servers are shut down. The chances of a virus going from host server to users is next to nil. You're far more likely to have issues with hackers in the games than anything else.

Yeah. I'd say that roughly 99 times out of 100, the reason behind a virus getting on your computer because of a game is because a hacker attached a virus to a particular download rather than it actually coming through the game itself to hit your computer.

Franken- Then get some! D= I wanna see screenies, dammit! stare
Natsu- Aww... That so sucks. If you have a PS3 or XBox 360, there's versions for those systems as well. Downside? No way to get screenies (effectively) and no player-made mods. >.>
Speaking of mods, I've recently downloaded about 40 of them (yay TES.Nexus!), so I'll have to get some more screenies, this time mostly for the actual characters. Mods include a combat mod (which I may have to disable), unofficial updates to the game, actor re-models and re-skins, a new race, more hair, re-skins and -models of a few of the weapons, additional armor, extra scripting options, and I think (think being the keyword) that's about it. I haven't even installed half of them.
And for those of you looking to add in player mods, I recommend grabbing OBMM (OBlivion Mod Manager) or Wrye Bash. Right now, I use OBMM, and have yet to download Wrye Bash. I also recommend picking up the Unofficial Oblivion Patch, Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch and Unofficial Official Mods Patch (which deals with the Knights of the Nine expansion and the other official plugins available at the Bethesda Softworks' Oblivion website).
