Political/Religious :
Keys of the Kingdom by Fr. Malachi Martin. A little dated, but still good.
The Spiral Snake forgot who wrote it, but a very interesting take on the Judeo-Christian 'history'.
NWO/Illuminati:
The Robot's Rebellion by David Icke. Good stuff, if you can handle the Lizard stuff

Another good one :
Behold a Pale Horse by the late William Cooper. He gets a little strange at times, but overall it's pretty good.
While Noam Chomsky is good for some things, in all fairness I should point out that The Anti-Chomsky Reader does a pretty good job of deconstructing some of Chomsky's wilder assertions.
And if anyone has a copy of Nothing In This Book Is True that they're willing to part with, please let me know.
