He didn't call her a whore point-blank he simply said to her on the phone (this is according to Molotov - Kaganovich also supposedly repeated this line in a politburo meeting on the question).

"Do not think that because you share a bed with Lenin that you have a monopoly on Leninism. If the doctors told us to, we would forbid you from seeing him!"

He is also supposed to have said "Just because she shares a bathroom with Lenin doesn't mean she understands Leninism!"

This is because Lenin was restricted from working or seeing visitors on doctors orders, the Central Committee responded by passing a resolution forbidding Party members from contacting him for work related reasons. Krupskaya was shirking this resolution and allowing Lenin to work and see all sorts of people.

This entire speech. I'm doing my best to ignore the previously posted divisionist, capitalist fueled drivel against the Great Stalin. The first time I heard Stalin's voice I was surprised. He does not have the mighty voice that a leader, at the time, I thought should have. But he has a lower, subtly confident voice, the voice of a father steering his son on the right path. Encouraging when it needs to be, empowering in entirety, passionate and pragmatic. He wasn't that much of a speaker, but he knew what he was doing was right, and that tells. It's a voice for a people trapped in fear. Brings a goddamn tear to your eye.
