Well, I once had an idea that Jasper and Alice go hunting, and split up for a bit, for reasons unknown to me. And Jasper wanders a touch to close to the outskirts of town, while hunting, and ends up eating ((drinking? draining?)) a human.
Then he runs away, putting Alice into a depression, trying to wait until his eyes grow black again, so he can hunt and make them gold. But Alice and Carlisle go searching for him, and Jasper runs into Carlisle and must tell him what he did.
or you could write on what happens after Alice meets Jasper, and their traveling to, and meeting, the Cullens. It only mentions it it Eclipse, really.
But those are just my ideas. I can't WAIT to read it!
((I have other ideas, but I don't want to impose my ideas too much, and I don't want to hog the tread.))

alice hung up the phone and turned to edward. i dont know how i let this happen to him. i cant believe it. i cant even see where hes going!"
"alice, its not your fault. he made a mistake and hes going to come home soon."
"but how soon? carlisle wont handle this well when we have to tell him."
"hes going to be dissappointed but it happens."
