Adonia stepped out of the cab, pulling up the hood of her cloak, her face shadowed. Her gloved hands shut the door and handed the driver payment. She folded her hands in front of her and stared. It was quite remarkable that they had still preserved it. Of course, it was part of history now. She stared at the Victorian House, looking lovingly at it's iron gates and pale violet walls. She walked at for it, her black gloved hands reaching for the gates. So rusty. But they worked, and she was able to walk into the dead yard, it's trees dead, the hedges overgrown. A large tree stood in the corner, an old wooden swing hanging on rotten ropes.

Mike slowly appeared in sand in the bathroom of a tavern. He quickly walked out of it, and witnessed the hustle and bustle of the city. It was a big city, almost as big as New York. "Hrm....this place is pretty big." Mike said, he laughed. That's the funniest accent I have ever heard...and it's everywhere. I wish I talked like that...it's so cool. He thought to himself.

Adonia felt a lump in her throat as she stroked the splintery wood, and tested it cautiously. Good as new, her father had made sure of that. She sat down, and, feeling like a child again, swung back and forth, her hood lying down, her hair streaming back, her face alive.

She got off, replacing her hood, and watching as mice climbed into the cracks beneath the windows. Her eyes were wide, and sorrowful. They turned the color of the sky, gray, and cold. It was all she would need for a long time. Just revisiting the old house was like a reminder that she used to wear buttoned boots, frilly skirts and frocks.

Mike pulled his black hood up, and walked down the street, the shadow his hood cast, covering his face, as the rain began to fall from the sky. He was grinning. He waved his hand, and large stones protruded from the side of a building, as he leaped from stone to stone, reaching the top of the building extremely quickly.

Lyra roamed the streets of her home town. She had already seen Robbie, the casino manager, son of Tyche, and Lexxi, the salonist daughter of Aphrodite. Now there was only one person left, her caretaker,Maverick. She walked to a back alley, putting on a deep brown cloak. She hurried herself into the back streets of town, dodging the sellers at the market.
She arrived in front of a brick house, with the words : Maverick Stone in Ancient Greek and in English. The door were solid bronze. She smiled, and skipped up the steps. She knocked on the door. "I wonder what the old man looks like." she wondered. The door opened by a younger girl. She had braids and golden eyes. "Where's Maverick?" Lyra asked. "He died. The town's selling the place.'" the girl said. Lyra knelt down. She knew the little girl, a daughter of Psyche. This was where children of the gods used to go. Now, they were nowhere but the streets. "Don't give up, Tamia." she said, before walking down the steps. Lyra blinked back the tears. Maverick was her only mortal family left. She ran through the streets, and stopped at the cemetery. She went to her mother's grave, and began to cry. The tears turned to steam on her face.

Adonia stepped out of the property, closing the gate behind her, sighing. She was done now, there were more important matters to attend to. She blinked, and sighed heavily, making way towards the street, shielding herself from the rain.

She walked towards the library, her gloved hands knocking gently on the glass door. The librarian opened it for her, and told her sternly the cloak she wore was out of fashion. Adonia lowered the cloak and smiled thinly. "Sorry ma'am," she said, she reached the back of the building and found the book she was looking for. Skimming through until she found the C's. She sat down, reading intently.

Lyra shook her head, and stood up. She walked over to the Main Library, where she had loved to research her father. Lyra dusted over her pants, and walked inside. The librarian smiled at her, as she scanned for hr favorite book, The God of the Forges. She found the book, a gray colored spine with a red cover, and walked over to the reading room. She picked a warm couch, and flipped to the beginning of the explanation.

"Clearwater!" She said, eyes shining. "The line has died out...the heiress disappeared many years ago....mother died soon afterwards...?" She shook her head. "NO."

Lyra piped up her ears. She heard an recognizable voice: Adonia. She looked around, and saw the girl, she had dropped the book she had been holding. She ran to her, the librarian giving her an interesting look, and wrapped her arm around her. She led her to a couch.

"Lyra!" Adonia gasped. "I forgot you lived here!" She gave her cousin a burly, bear hug. "My line!" she said, frantically. "It's practically died out!"

Adonia shook her head. "Okay, but it's weird. I went to the old house, memories came back, you know? I went here to look up and see if any of the Clearwater's still exist." She shook her head. "I'm the heiress to the fortune, to the house, and according to this book," she pointed, "I'm dead!"
