The Story:
In the year 4000 A.D. a landmark scientific development occured. It was an accident really - just a couple of curious scientists and physicists fooling around in a nuclear power plant ...
Needless to say, the results of that "accident" were far-reaching. Though the incident was kept under tight wraps by the government, eventually the "How-To's" of time travel leaked out. Various criminal organizations began to be interested in figuring out ways of using time travel for profit: theft of undiscovered treasures, betting on future winners of sporting events, etc - little things here and there. They intended to carry out their operations discreetly without being noticed.
But even before the governments of the world became aware of these criminal actions, a swift alliance had been reached. Everyone knew that the space-time continuum needed to be protected. What if terrorists were able to go back in time and alter history to their liking? This and other such horrifying possibilities spurred on a rapid alliance between the nations of the world. There would need to be Protectors ... and thus, Time Force was born - a secret organization that polices the space-time continuum, tracking down criminals and terrorists known as "time criminals" who seek to alter time.
