Time Force Squad Members:.........................................................................................................................................
Anyone can play a captain of another Time Force Squad on the base. I envision it as being sort of like Stargate SG-1, in the sense that there are many SG teams, made of (usually) small groups of people.

Character Played By: flightoftheunicorn
Name: Captain Ellie Valentine
Age: 30
Gender: Female
Rank/Title: Time Force Captain of Squad 1
WOC (weapon of choice): (to be decided)
GOC (gun of choice): (to be decided)
Appearance:Ellie has short wavy blond hair, tidy and very distinguished - just right for a captain. Her big blue eyes are kind and serene.
Personality: Ellie is serious, intelligent, and kind - a good leader. She might seem like a square at first glance, but she enjoys laughing and having fun just as much as anyone else. She isn't afraid of danger, and she is a fierce figher. Ellie is very protective of her squad. She stands up for them, won't let anyone speak an undeserved ill word about them in her presence, and would give her life to protect them.
History: As a little girl, Ellie was the victim of what appeared to be an assasination attempt. The identities of some of the early Time Force members became known to their enemies after encounters that occured on missions, and these "known" Time Force squad members were subjected to attempts to "erase" them from existance by the enemies of Time Force.
On the fateful day of the attempt to "erase" her, Ellie was uncharacteristicly late on her way home from school. She stopped to play in the park for awhile before coming home. When she walked in the door of her family's apartment, she saw her parents lying on the floor bleeding. They had been shot, but were still alive. Ellie fell to her knees beside her mother in shock. "Ellie!" her mother whispered urgently, "Run! You have to get out of here! It's you they want!" Still dazed, Ellie sat beside her parents, unwilling to leave them. Through a haze, she could hear, in another room of the apartment, the sound of drawers being opened, furniture being overturned. They were searching for someone. She knew that they were searching for her.
The sounds ceased for a moment, and she could hear two male voices conferring in the background. "They're bleeding but they won't die - I owe her that much, at least. It's the girl we've come for. She will be one of them someday - a Captain in Time Force, and my most worthy adversary - unless we stop that from happening here today."
The other voice asked, "And what will we do with her when we find her?" ...
The first voice laughed in a low, dreadful sort of way, and said,"I'm not sure exactly ... I might keep her and make her my pet someday when she's old enough - she who gave me this scar, this girl - is the only one who ever told me my scar is beautiful. ... Or maybe we'll just dispose of her - I haven't decided yet."
The conversation ended on that ominous note, and the searching noises resumed. Ellie sat there paralyzed in fear. And then the front door opened and a woman came in very quietly - seemingly already aware of the need to be silent, even though she had only just arrived. Looking up against the brilliant light flooding through the door, Ellie only saw a halo of soft blond hair back-lit by the outdoor light and a beautiful smile shining forth from the woman's big blue eyes. She looked like an angel to the child's dazzled eyes. The woman stretched out her arms to Ellie as though to hug her and said, "You're going to be okay, and your parents are going to be okay too - but you have to leave now."
"Will I ever see them again?" Ellie asked in a small, trembling voice.
"Yes, you will - I promise you. But you have to go now, okay honey? Policemen and doctors will come to help them after we're gone."
Then the woman did something very odd, with the saddest look on her face, she reached down very tenderly and kissed Ellie's parents on the cheek as though they were in fact her own parents, and after one last longing look, she scooped Ellie up in her arms and carried her out the door. Ellie looked down at the woman's arms, clad in heavy dark blue fabric. "TF" she read aloud. "What is TF?" Ellie asked.
"You'll find out someday," the woman said as she looked at Ellie. There were tears running down her face. "You're going to see your parents again someday, okay? Don't ever forget that, alright?"
She dropped the little girl off at a police station, with promises that she would see Ellie again someday. But Ellie never did see her again, not until recently ... There was something on the news the next day. A double murder - looked like a typical robbery/murder situation. But still, somehow, Ellie did not believe that they were dead. She believed the words of her angel - that Ellie would see them again someday. Ellie was sent very far away from America - all the way to England, to be raised by a foster family out in the countryside. And you know what? She did see her parents again. When she was 13, they showed up at the front door of her foster parents' home and took her home with them. They explained that they had been taken away secretly so that everyone would think they were dead - that it was to keep them all safe. But everything was okay now, and they could live together again.
Years passed, Ellie's family remained in England, and she grew up and went to college. She went through a rather late rebellious phase. At 19 - most all of her friends were drinking illegally - fake IDs were easy to come by, and at that age, most of them looked 21 already anyway. One night, Ellie snuck out of her dorm room by herself and went to a local bar that was close by. As she sat at the bar, a strange man came and sat down beside her. Ellie glanced up. The man was strikingly handsome, dark brown hair, pale icy blue eyes and a silvery-white scar on his right cheek. They talked far into the night, and he just kept buying her more and more drinks. Ellie had the oddest feeling that she had heard his voice somewhere before, but dismissed the thought as irrational. He was so intelligent and seemed to know so much about history and art and the world - Ellie's blossoming, college-fed mind which had already begun to reach out for such things was laid low in awe. Hours passed. Sparks were flying - he made some self-depracatory reference to his scar, and she said, "No, it's beautiful!" reaching out to delicately trace the line of it on his face. And then, he leaned in very close toward Ellie - as though to kiss her- but she felt herself growing suddenly very tired and dizzy. He embraced Ellie and whispered in her ear, "That pretty little compliment saved your life, my dear. If you hadn't said that, I would have killed you on the day I was at your parents' apartment 11 years ago. If you hadn't said it, I would have killed you now. But maybe someday, I will make you mine." At those words, Ellie's disappointment in the lack of a kiss the previous moment might have held turned to horror, and as the world slowly faded to black and her head fell forward on her arm, she could see him, smiling down at her in the way that a cat might smile down at a mouse that it was planning to toy with for awhile and then eat.
Ellie woke up later, and the man with the scarred face was gone. The bartender was wiping down the glasses and looking at her with concern.
Years went by, she joined the military after college. Always, something of her angel's face remained in her mind, and Ellie was touched by her heroism - she wanted to be like her angel. And the rest, as they say ... is history. When Ellie donned her Time Force uniform for the graduation ceremony and looked in the mirror, she saw the truth at last - she was the woman who had come to save herself as a child, all those years ago.
And the man with the scarred face ... she hasn't seen him since she was 19, but Ellie has an instinctive feeling that she will see him again someday - perhaps someday very soon. And whatever his intentions are - whatever he did not finish, he will do when he sees Ellie next.
Oddly, none of Ellie's romantic relationships seemed to last very long - the guys that dated her ended up in all kinds of accidents and mishaps. She had the strange and unsettling feeling that something or someone was making that happen, and sometimes Ellie felt as if there was someone watching her - and now Ellie wonders if it was the man with the scarred face, watching her all along.
Ellie knows that she will see him again someday, because he said long ago that Ellie was the one who gave him that scar - but that is something that hasn't happened yet. He also said that Ellie was his "most worthy adversary" - but they have never yet fought each other in battle. The future will tell the rest of the story.

Character Played By: x_Squiddish_x
Name: Benjamin Callaghan
Age: Thirty-Seven
Gender: Male
Rank/Title: Ammunitions and Weapons Specialist (A.K.A. The man that will make you cry.)
Appearance:
Benjamin is, for lack of a better word, ‘ripped’. He works hard to be so. Although he’s rather old compared to the other members he’s part of a team with, he tries to keep himself just as fit if not more so than the others. His hair, or what’s left of it, is brown though it has started to thin almost to the point of baldness on top. His eyes, like his hair, at brown and tend to stay rather emotionless.
Aside from that, he’s the typical male. Within the average height and weight of most, standing at 5’11 and weighing close to 150 lbs.
Personality: Benjamin is a cocky SOB and he knows it. He’s, to most people he doesn’t work with, rather self centered and quite the jerk. However, with the people he does know well and works with, he’s more just cocky. He’s good at what he does. He knows his stuff. He knows weapons and he knows interrogation, first and foremost. However, Benjamin does have a softer side. It usually comes out right before or right after a mission. During it, it’s all business. In between, he tends to get bored and then either a) overly flirty with every woman he sees or b) extremely pissy. Either way, it’s usually best to stick him in a closet in between missions.
History: Benjamin was born in Britain and grew up around family in law enforcement and crime.. Separate sides of the family, mind you. He always had a fascination with weapons and causing pain. For a while, he started to take after his father’s side and got into quite a bit of trouble. Once he was of age, however, he joined the Marines and became a special ops agent. He stayed in the service for almost five years, until he was wounded and forced to retire. At that point, he became part of the Time Force, through several recommendations and long phone calls. And now, he’s the man that does the dirty work, so to speak... and supplies them with any weapon they need, old or new.

History: He's always know that Time travel was possable, and was trained for that very reason for the Time Squad. He may be only a few months out of training, But he's ready for most anything. Training doesn't seem to have done anything to dampen his personality, only made it more carefree.
.........................................................................................................................................
Name: Vincent Rowan Criste
Age: Four Hundred and Ninety-Eight. Appears Twenty-Five years of age.
Gender: Male
Rank/Title: On Base: Time Consultant (might also go on some missions)
Weapon of Choice: Himself (skilled in several forms of combat)
Gun of Choice: Prefers not to use guns.
Appearance:
Personality: Compassion and mercy are two words that do not apply when you are talking about Vincent. It can be said that emotion, in general, is lacking in him. He tends to bar himself from others, locking away anything that he thinks he's feeling and brushing you off with a cold exterior.
Along those same lines, he does not trust you. Hell, he hardly trusts himself. The only way you would be able to win that trust would be to... well, put your life up in sacrifice to save him, in which case you would then be dead. But, really, in his life there have been few that he would turn his back too.
However, gain his trust and you have it for good. There's not much you could do to break it (aside from completely and blatantly stab him in the back. Perhaps not even in the literal sense.) This would be there area in which he lacks common sense. He seems to believe that once he trusts you, you could never do anything to hurt him. No matter how many times he's proved wrong, however, he doesn't seem to change. He probably won't, either.
Vincent isn't ignorant enough to think that he can go without blood. He knows that if and when he tries, he becomes self-destructive, almost. He changes from more of the standoffish man that he is into the blood thirsty vampire that he is. When he's like this, he's not afraid to attack the first person he sees, human or not. Generally, he 'controls' his thirst by drinking blood that he has prepared before time. Though... there's always a chance he'll miss his normal feeding and find a different way to satisfy himself.
History: Vincent was not born into a rich family. In fact, his family hardly had any money at all. From the time he was young he worked with his hands, doing whatever work he could be paid for. As he began to age, he dabbled in art, drawn mostly to the art of sculpting. However, as the supplies needed to be a sculptor was more expensive than he could afford, he took up painting. Most of his supplies he made himself, aside from the actual brushes. By the time he was twenty-four, he had started to learn more and become more skilled in the art of painting. And, had it not been for the events a year later, he probably would've become quite good at it. Fate, however, had different plans.
While going to sell some of his art in the marketplace, a young, beautiful woman approached him. It didn't take much coaxing to get him to follow her away from the crowds. Once they were far enough away not to be heard, the woman was on him. He woke up almost a day later. The only sign that the woman had left were two bite marks on his neck. What she took was much more important. Vincent fled after that, unwilling to go back to his family and unsure of how to... control his new urges for blood. For awhile, he tried to ignore them. He hoped to find some way to make them stop; in fact, he did. By denying his thirst, his hunger took over. He killed an entire family less than a week later. And another, shortly after that. Soon, he gave up trying to control it and simply gave in, feeding when he was hunger and stopping himself from caring about who it was he fed off of.
It was almost one hundred and ninety years later that he heard of an experimental development. One that would allow time travel. At that point, it was just talk. It took almost three hundred years for anyone to actually discover a usable method for time travel. As Vincent has lived longer than most, he enjoys reading more about history. In fact, he is quite skilled in the area. He joined the time force shortly after it began and became the Time Consultant. Any questions about where they were going were directed to him. He has been on the Time Force longer than most others, as he hasn't died and been there since the beginning.

Character Played By: flightoftheunicorn
Name: Samantha Green, but she goes by Sam or Sammy - DON'T call her Samantha - especially not when she's having a bad day
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Rank: Head of Fashion Department
Appearance:Her hair is blonde with colorful highlights when she's happy, black when she's stressed out or unhappy. Natural hair color? Who knows - she hasn't seen it for years. She dyes her own hair. Blue eyes (when she's not wearing contacts) and a pixie-like face. True to her artistic nature, Sam is an eccentric and tends to wear wild, outlandish outfits that are occasionally a bit too startlingly colorful. She's often seen with a sewing tape measure hung absently around her neck, and sewing pins held in her mouth, as she happily does the work that she loves.
Personality: Sam is generally upbeat, playful, and friendly. Her sense of humor is sarcastic, but never insulting. Her passionate, artistic side shows itself when she's around fabric or in a sewing room. That's when she gets a bit giddy - like a squirrel on crack.
History:Sam grew up in a fairly normal home - a happy family, and her parents supported her dreams. She misses her family and hates having to lie to them about her work, but she has a strong sense of loyalty to Time Force and a desire to be a part of the work that they do.
As with all recruits of Time Force, she is exceptional in her field. She gave up the possibility of a promising career in the world of theater/stage fashion in order to join Time Force. She was a bit reluctant to accept the ambiguous offer at first ("I can never tell anyone what I'm doing?!"). A bit of bargaining back and forth: "You can wear whatever you want to work," and "You will get to spend all your time designing and making costumes," - smiling, but still reluctant. Finally, "You can actually sleep and live in the fabric room if you want to," was what won her over. She was ecstatic! It was the room of her dreams!
But being the head of the fashion department isn't easy - meticulous research is required for historical accuracy (which Sam actually loves), and the deadlines tend to be fast and close together at times. (That part she hates - she believes that to do things well, they need to be done slowly and with care - she doesn't like to do rush work, but she can do it when she needs to.)
