Name: Tai Ken

Age: 20

Appearance: Tai is about 5-8 and 160 pounds. He has emerald green eyes with brown hair that is short and spiky. He wears a black cloak that comes down past his hands. Under the cloak he wears loose pants and a loose short sleeve shirt that are a deep crimson. He wears black gloves with a steal plate on the back of the palm. To cover his face when he leaves the village he wears a smooth metal mask with a series of small holes where the mouth and nose are for breathing and larger wholes where the eyes are to see out of. He wears two katana in mate black sheathes. One goes horizontally across waist with the hilt pointing to the left. The other goes diagonally across his back with the hilt pointing up towards the right.

Village: Village Hidden in the Sound

Bio: Tai was born the illegitimate son of a noble and a prostitute. When he was born his mother didn’t know what to do. She left Tai on his fathers door step with a note explaining the story. Tai’s father found him there and quickly took him to a orphanage. Tai’s father had married up in rank and was not going to let this boy ruin his life. Tai was left at a orphanage to be raised with no history of who he was.
Tai was raised in the orphanage until he was seven. Tai was always being bullied. The kids at the orphanage always s went after him. The never had a reason to stop. Tai would just curl into a ball when ever they started to beat him and he was to afraid to say anything. It didn’t really matter though. The people in charge of the orphanage didn’t really care. They just turned the children into free labor as they got older. The outlook was bleak for Tai. The beatings where getting more severe every time and they where starting to leave permanent damage. One day when the kids were giving him a particularly harsh beating, Tai blacked out. He thought that he had died then he heard another voice coming from the blackness. The voice said in almost a whisper coming from all directions “I’ve been watching what they have done to you, you are weak, let me take care of them.”
It was that day that Tai stood up to those boys who had tormented him. When Tai woke up he didn’t know where he was. He was in the middle of the forest somewhere with blood on his hands. He was disoriented and felt distant. Then he heard the voice from before, but no one was there. The voice proceeded to tell Tai how he had killed those bullies. The voice then said in the soft spinning voice “You are to weak to survive in this world that is why you created me. I am the you that can survive and will protect you.” Tai would continue to live in the forest for several years with his only companion being this other person in his head.
As Tai aged was found by a wondering ninja named Ken. Ken was waling to his base of operations in the village hidden in the Sound when he stumbled he heard something moving in the trees. He could tell by the sound that it was the size of a child. When Ken looked in the direction of the noise to see what it was he heard a twig snap behind him. He turned pulling his sword to defend himself. There was a child in front of him charging with a kunai. Ken quickly formed a set of hand seals and the boy passed out. Ken picked up the boy and continued on his way. When the boy woke up Ken asked him his name. The boy said “People call me Tai and if you are going to kill me do it know.” Ken looked at the boy and decided that this child would make a good ninja. Ken went on to train the boy. Tai eventually would take Ken as his surname to show his gratitude.
That is the story of how a young boy was brought to be raised in the village hidden in the Sound.
