So I'm thinking about starting a role-play area for Hypnotix here. I've got a story, which I will list in bold. Let me know if you'd want to take part in it.
There was a time, long ago, when you were free to think. Free will, it was called. Free to think whatever you wanted, free to let your mind wander into imaginative worlds, and free to dream.
Not anymore.
A sinister woman, Becklia, has located the Crown of Thought, a mysterious artifact that allows her total control of the minds of the world. Nations, armies, and countries fell under her power as she declared herself empress of all. None dared to defy her, and all bowed to her.
Years later, rumors began spreading. Rumors of those who were free from her power. Rumors that they would fight this dark empress, and rip the crown from her head. Some of these free thinkers want the crown for their own dark purposes, while others seek to free the world from her power.
The question you have now is, what will you do? Will you allow yourself to be controlled, and remain a slave to Empress Becklia? Or will you fight, and take the crown? The choice is up to you.

I like the story, side note though, the name "Queen Becklia" made me laugh because I remember a character from Super Paper Mario called "Count Beck" whom used hypnosis on princess peach to try and destroy the world, he always spoke in third person, aside from that, good story.

Part of me wants to be in the Rebellion, but the other part of me wants to be a loose cannon assassin that doesn't play by the rules xd .

perhaps someone else could pop up with mind control abilities as well? that would give her reason to worry, especially if he were immune to her attempts

ZenonX1 perhaps someone else could pop up with mind control abilities as well? that would give her reason to worry, especially if he were immune to her attempts good but I think you need to come up with a story for him

Maybe it could be like a dying race of people who had kinetic powers or something, Becklia was one of them and instead of normally using them for peace she used them to rise to power and eliminated most of the race except groups that went int hiding in the mountains, that way if it's an rp and multiple people want to be immune it's possible, as well as a way for people (like me) to be in between and not on any particular side, as well as that maybe we can say mind control is a form of magic that this specific race is just very adept at learning, that way we can also have skilled people not of that race.
Just an idea.
