The medical wing of the academy is well equipped to handle injuries of all kinds. Due to the nature of the Shinigami academy, it is always prepared for wounded students and the occasional wounded teacher.
The main entrance consists of two potted plants to welcome patients and visitors as the hallway leads to a large room. The hallway is not very long, and the door to the main medical room is always open in the day, though closed at night. Even though closed, patients can still be brought in at any time.
Lining the walls of the hallway, there are several closets containing fresh bedding so more patients can be kept overnight in emergencies and so that clean bedding can replace used bedding as patients leave.
The room is equipped for every kind of medical situation. From general treatment; the healing, cleaning and dressing of minor wounds. There is a side room off to the left that is equipped to handle the more extreme situations. Patients in critical condition and in need of immediate treatment are brought there. Anyone recovering from a critical condition is left on one of the five emergency room beds in case of a crashing state where they will again need immediate attention. The room is the length of the main room, but not as wide, allowing for equal spaced emergency beds and plenty of room for staff to get around the beds quickly of needed.
At the back of the main room, with a window either side is a desk and chair for handling paper work and dealing with patients as they come in, or are brought in by others. Both windows are normally open slightly to give to room a more airy, comfortably feel though are also covered to prevent people looking in from outside. Ten beds line the right and left walls of the main room. These are for keeping stable patients overnight or for letting patients rest after treating injuries before letting them go.
As part of Hannelore's medical policy, everything in the medical wing is utterly spotless, even if that means taking time out of any free time she has to clean herself. She tries to make sure that everything in the medical wing is literally surgically clean.

Hannelore let out a sigh as she wandered into the main hospital room, the opening ceremony had certainly gone better than expected. She slowly examined the room, "Spotless as ever." She muttered to herself, proud of the clenly environment she had ready. With delicate footfalls, she made her way to the desk at the back of the room and sat down. Running a finger along the surface, she examined how there didn't seem to be a trail, meaning the desk was clean as ever.
Routinely, she checked her drawers, openning each one individually and inspecting the contents. Neatly stored pencils, stacks of paper, erasers and various other paperwork tools, all organised neatly to keep everything together. "Good...all sorted." She smiled to herself as she closed the drawers. Gently, she lifted her chair and turned it, to avoid scraping the floor, and began to gaze out the window, looking up and to the right slightly as she could see just behind the blinds and had a slight view of a glorious cherry blossom tree.
Silently, as she lost herself in the sight before her, she began to daydream about nothing in particualar, but various things ranging from the possible injuries she'd see in the hospital wing, to anything other than healing she might be required to do.
