There is an expansive forest to the north of the village which stretches for miles. The northern half expands from the Moon Lake to the mountains. Most of the woods are extremely dense and clearings are few and far between. The trees are of all different variety and are beautiful when fall comes around. Periodically, giant trees rise above the others and are tall enough to allow someone at the top see from the village to the mountains. Dangerous wildlife roams through the forest and shows an extreme threat to anyone in the area. Only chuunin ranks and up are allowed in this part of the woods due to the dangerous fauna and even the flora. There are even some animals that would give well rounded jounin a run for their money.

Rai, who was looking around the village trying to get a whole idea of the picture this village, stops when he senses the forsaken aura. Rai halts and notices that the entire forests wildlife has started a massive exodus from the area leading directly into the village. "So he has finally decided to show up here himself." Rai says as he looks around.

Rai's own preparations have started to take effect as the wild growth of plants have started to dry up. The earth itself seems to be getting warmer. As though it was burning underneath the crust. The area of the village was starting to become hotter but not too hot.

Rai has started to make the volcanic fault lines and the geothermal vents in the earth to work in his favor. He has used his chakra to start to make the earth to produce that which he needs to use his jitsu's more easily. The heating of the earth is just a start to what he needs to do to protect the one that Chaos told him to protect... And he told him to protect this person from everyone. That means that he has to protect this person from Chaos as well... Or at least make sure that Rai is on a stable ground to be able to protect the person of interest to his old colleague.
