Beautiful pictures detailing the seasons and holidays are all over the pages, though it seems some of the passages are faded. Perhaps new holidays should be written down?

Holidays are a very important part of each season, they disrupt the hum-drum of day to day life and bring joy to the people who participate in them. Each new season brings life, even in the dead of winter there is still the glimmer of hope for the new year!

Festivals for this Season

Winter 10 - Winter Thanksgiving
Winter thanks giving is a time of year where young men and young woman express their caring through one another by baking cakes and cookies, though this extension of gift-giving has evolved enough to the point that you can also just give gifts to friends and family.
Events for the Festival
Cake Gifting
Throughout the entire day cakes will be given out to prospective partners and friends, if you don't know how to cook or don't have a means of cooking you should either buy a cake or have someone help you.

Winter 15 - Fire Festival
The Fire Festival is a very special festival, it is the honoring of those who have died out at sea and using bonfires to guide them back to land. Though some consider it only a superstitious holiday, many believe if you do not honor the dead they will come back to haunt you.
Events for the Festival
Bonfire Ceremony
During the night and into the morning Bonfires will lit and kept lit, this is to help guide those who were lost at sea. ( Even though Mizuumi Valley is a Lake, there used to be a direct access to the ocean. ) Those who volunteer themselves to protect the fires have said will be blessed by the spirits who they've helped and it is also said if you stay with someone special your relationship will be closer. There will be free food and supplies for those who are willing to stay out the entire night on the beach.

Winter 17 - Starry Night Festival
A romantic festival, going out to see the stars with someone special.
Events for the Festival
Starry Night Veiwing
During the night, all lights in the village are turned off so there is amply view of the sky. If you are lucky you might be able to wish on a falling star.

Winter 22 - The Winter Bazzar
Every second to last Sunday of every season there is a Bazaar hosted, even though it's not really a festival it is treated like one.
Events for the Festival
Winter Flea Market
Stalls and areas for sales will be set up throughout the Town Square, everyone is allowed to participate and this is opened for all ages.
Winter Cooking Contest
A cooking contest that is themed for things you want to eat in the winter! Since Winter has no real crops during this time of year, anything you like to eat in this season is what the theme is.

Winter 30 - New Years Eve
The end of the year! Make a wish for the new year!
Events for the Festival
Awards will be given out through the duration of the festival, may it be for the best improvement or for the most fish fished. It's really up to what has happened throughout the year.
There will be chances to buy items that are not normally sold during the year.
Throughout the festival there will be dining and dancing, then we all wait for the sun to rise and make a wish for the new year. Who knows! It might come true.
