So I came across
this essay by accident
years ago, and practically memorized it, it's so incredible. Last night I was reading some fanfic, and suddenly remembered it, and went on a three hour long quest across the vast, unforgiving sea that is the internets to find it once more.
The essay has got to be around 10,000 words long, but I swear to you, if you start you will not stop reading it. This thing is full of quotes, pictures, and solid evidence from the manga that supports the SasuNaru/NaruSasu pairing, while remaining relatively subjective. It even includes Sakura and emphasizes the important role she plays in their relationship.
As an added bonus, the author [LJ user cephiedvariable] has added several lists at the bottom of her favorite fanfics, fanarts, and fan created amvs [of them I strongly urge you to read the shortfic "Touch the Parade" I swear you'll never forget it].
