Exactly what the title describes. This is a wide alluvial plain, with thick grass everywhere. There is a small stream, but no trees.

Nitoru stopped on the edge of the field. He held his fire coated hand up to his throat.
"Remove yourself now bird."

The paper bird unfolded itself from Nitoru's neck fluttering into the air to only hover in front of Nitoru.

Nitoru sighed.
"Look birdy. Your creator abandoned her village. If she wishes to maintain connections... she'll have to do it in person, not through you. Good day." He held his hands up and vanished in the Kaze Shunshin.

Leto and his genin had been traveling for hours. They flew, lazy kids no physical strength all ninjutsus to them. He thought. He looked back at them, checking on them as they passed through the plains.

The kids decided they had flown long enough, and decided to walk. There legs were fine, so they jogged. And whenever Airi would slow a bit, Rin would push the legs to go farther.

Leto had arrived here, it longer then on the way here, Leto keeping his pace light for his genin this time, even walking until they caught up.

Airi and Rin would hover silently in the clouds, unnoticed by Leto. By the time they were miles ahead, Leto would wonder were they had gone.

Leto had waited a while before he got bored. Going back to his regular speed he would catch up with his genin just in time to arrive at the gates to the Rain Village.

Hirose landed in the open plains and glanced around. Then he made a handsign, summoning ten different superior smoke clones. He looked at each of them and pointed in a direction. The clones quietly nodded and made handseals, disappearing in random gusts of wind. Hirose knew that Zane was somewhere in either the country or the village based on what he told him at the crystal caves. He would have to search each if he hoped to find the former Mizukage. He started with the open plains, trekking across them and using the wind to feel if anything was off as it rummaged through the grass. After a while nothing came up, so the real Hirose moved onto a different area.

Jiraya finally stopped running. he stood there in the middle of a large grassy field surrounded by Rouge ninja. "give us those documents and we wont hurt you." one of the Rouge's said in a threatening voice to Jiraya. Jiraya only smirked as he threw the messenger bag high up into the air and immediately grabbed the Rouge closest to him swinging him around knocking him into several other rouges. the Rouges attacked Jiraya using the Katon: Houka Hira no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flaming Palm Technique). Jiraya dodged the attacks without much effort as he made hand signs in between each dodge. suddenly he stood completely still and said "Chidori Nagashi(One Thousand Birds Current)" suddenly all the Rouge ninja fell to the ground paralyzed. "w-who are you?" one of the Rouges asked trembling as he looked up at Jiraya. Jiraya caught the messenger bag strapping it around his shoulder "I am Jiraya Hatake. the Thunder Bringer." he replied as he was suddenly gone in a flash of white lightning.

Jiraya walked back through the plains noticing that the Rouges had left back to where they had come from. Jiraya didnt have the documents anymore so he was taking his time to get back to his village.

Zane stood in the middle of the plains, twirling his scroll between his fingers. This next step was the final stage of the Infinite One...could he achieve it...just like Luo had achieved his? After all this time, is he still hidden within Luo's shadow? He sighed as he waited for LT to arrive.

The real LT showed up at the plains walking through the grass that seemed golden in the afternoon light. He saw Zane off by himself in the middle of the field and walked up to him. "Whats up,"

Walking across the open plains a mile down from LT and Zane, the winds of the coast blew as the sun began to shine in the area outside of Kiri. As his robe ruffled in the wind, he tilted his head, holding his hat with his left hand. Looking at the brim of his hat to the left, Luo could see the shinobi boots of two men standing in the distance. "Probably some fishing village shinobi," Luo thought to himself. He wondered what the hell was taking Zane so long getting back from his usual training spot. Sighing, he crossed into Konoha country, seeing the end of the sea and forest.
EXIT.
