How come so many shows with cult followings(Invader Zim, Upright Citizens Brigade, Wonder Showzen, Strangers with candy) get cancelled? It seems that every show that doesn't appeal to a "normal" audience gets the boot; and why would anyone want to ornate a thread?

I really miss Futurama. It had The Simpsons beat hands down.
Grrr! Darn you Fox! Darn you to heck! scream

- I don't count Futurama as a loss, because I'm just starting the series. Teletoon still airs them, and they're just beginning the second series.
- underGRADS was a favorite show for me for the longest time, but I've only ever seen the first series. The second one was only released on MTV, I guess.
- SAVED BY THE BELL. I loved this show. Thank GOD Fox decided to start airing it again.
- Sabrina the Teenaged Witch. This show went down the drain the second they allowed Sabrina to graduate. Her following was lost, and too much was changed.
- Grounded For Life. I loved that show. Period.
Hiatus, girls.

Probably one of the most famous recent cancellations by Fox was Firefly, an amazing, innovative series that was cancelled after a mere 14 episodes. I really wish Fox had kept that going, but NOOOO, they can't get it out of their heads that reality TV is FAR too overdone. >.<

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! Futurama was awesome, and I seem to recall liking Greetings From Tuscon and Invader Zim quite a bit as well.
They've replaced so many of the shows I liked with lousy reality TV that just about all I watch these days is WXXI. xD

Grounded for Life... but now they have re-runs on ABC Family. <333 Uh, lets see... Tidus. That show was pretty damned funny.
Though, Fox was smart with bringing back Family Guy. :3 They should bring back Futurama, though. Now I'm all stuck with the re-runs on [Adult Swim]. ;_;

That show was AMAZING. I cried when Christopher was put in a coma. It was a horrid, horrid, HORRID travesty to cancel it.

... =( I don't have ABC Family. Go Canada.

Woo-hoo! mrgreen
Due to strong DVD sales and re-run ratings... as well as tons of fan e-mails. FUTURAMA just might get a second chance a-la-Family Guy!

Book of Daniel looked promising, but I can't help but think that some of the more religious people had it shut down... neutral
