Are you looking to breed shiny Pokemon, because you want it at lv 1 or you want it to have certain egg moves? Well then you'll want to read this guide!

What you'll need:
* 2 Pokemon to breed with
* Luck

... Wait.... You knew that before, didn't you? With this, you still have a 1 in 8192 chance of finding a shiny. So why am I even writing a guide for this? Well shut up and listen to me then rofl . Do want, instead of a 1/8192 chance... Maybe... a 1/2048 chance? Read this guide to find out how!

The Masuda Method
The Masuda Method is a way to get the chance of breeding a shiny Pokemon cut down by 3/4. That's right. Read this to have a 1/2048 chance of getting a shiny Pokemon egg. Here's what you'll need:

* 2 Pokemon to breed with
- One Pokemon you caught in your game.
- One Pokemon from a Foreign game (French, Japanese, Spanish, etc.)
* (Not Necessary, but suggested) A Pokemon with Flame Body as the only Pokemon in your party

Now what is the Masuda Method? Why does it cut down the time it takes to find a shiny? Junichi Masuda is one of the programmers for the games. It only works in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum (Not in GBA, POSSIBLY in Heart Gold & Soul Silver). On one of his blogs, he said something about "The GTS can help you find different colored Pokemon's eggs a little easier" This is because you need a foreign Pokemon. Since the game scans that the Pokemon are from different countries, each of them decreases the chance by half. (1/2)/2=1/4 which is the 1/2048 chance. All you have to do is get eggs out of them and start breeding. If you want it with a certain nature, have an everstone on one of the parents that has the nature you want. For m ost people, it takes less than 200 eggs to work! Good luck finding a shiny egg!
