But have any of you wowtards seen the new expansion for wow?
DEATH WING!!!!!!
I was hella excited in wrath when the dragon Aspects came in, but there was little talk I've seen so far of deathwing.
Now the former Earth Aspect wants to REDO Azeroth!!
I CAN'T FRICKEN WAIT!!
I'm playing both games!

Yeah I found it kinda weird that Deathwing comes in before the forces of the world even take down the Lich King, but they are adding a lot of different stuff in and doing a lot of different stuff, so in the end its awesome in my eyes.

Wow. I literally just said Holy s**t out loud.
Deathwing is nice, but he shouldn't be as a strong as they're portraying him to be, after the loss of the Demon Soul. Deathwing should have been an update with a quest line starting from Alexstrasza, not an expansion. Queen Azshara should be an expansion. The Emerald Dream and the return of Malfurion should be an expansion. Sargeras should be an expansion. Not Deathwing, unless they're going to also introduce the remaining old gods. But I doubt it.
Also, I noticed there's not a lot of NEW, new content. There's a lot of character editing and recombination, but not a lot of new stuff except Gilneas. The rest? Almost like they scrapped it together pretty quickly. I guess Aion being named game of the year at gamescon has put things into perspective for Blizz, even though NCsoft admitted it was shooting for second best MMO online. I think Blizzard released this much earlier than anticipated, by the quality of the video.

they aren't even raising the level cap by 10...only 5, u know why? because they NEED people to keep playing, I wanna say a good 90% of mages left the game (myself included) among many other classes that just got messed with so bad it threw the balance of the game off. They STILL haven't fixed this issue yet, but WAIT! FIVE MORE LEVELS...and worgens...Oooo...you could be a worgen in karzahan with a tome, big whop. Blizz knows they are loosing people, and fast, they need a quick gimmick to keep all the people from leaving. I'm glad I sold my account for $250 while accounts were still worth that much.

Hopeless Dark I'm glad I sold my account for $250 while accounts were still worth that much. I tried to sell mine but i fail. WoW dies burning_eyes cause its to easy. I played for 3-4 years and vanilla WoW was the best. got me 1 year on get my t2 helm form freaking ony. Now u can gear a toon in 1 week. Fail emo . But Aion will have soon twitter merge and Guild and player housing.

It looks like they're working on keeping it fresh and giving the people who have done most everything a reason to stay. I think its both there are a lot of new MMOs hitting the market and you have to keep your game updating to keep people's interest. I havn't played WoW in ages though I liked some of the class changes they did around WOTLK and it made me more interested. I'd only go back if I have some friends who do though.

On a side note, LotRO is doing the same thing with the Siege of Mirkwood.
It is coming in the next two or three months to try and kepp players probably. They are finishing the Mines of Moria with it, raising cap to 65 (currently 60), and throwing in a few more little candies (new raids and stuff)
