I think it's okay. I mean many pagans have different Gods and Goddesses, so their god would be the christian god and their goddess is usually the Virgin Mary. (I was christian pagan for about a year before I became fully pagan.) Also in their household they may HAVE to be both because of their family situation...many peoples parents don't like paganism. I know because I have many covenmates and friends who have families like that. I say that a person can believe whatever they want and you can't do much to change it, so just let them be......They just better not force their beliefs on others or theres gunna be problems...

Yes I know. But people are entitled to believe what they want so weather I think it's wrong or okay isn't going to change that. And I agree also but I guess it just depends on the person.

Its insuferable! I completely agree with your statement. Although I am a firm believer of God myself, but I have never been baptised. I turn to Wicca when I realized it had the answers I seeked. And Paganism was on Earth before Christianity though, as far as I know, so its natural for people like us to firmly believe in Wicca/Paganism . And I too have tried talking to my old priest. When he did decide to answer me, its with answers that ended up either making no sense, or changing the subject. You can not get through to them it seems. They either stick firmly to their beliefs, or they do not wish to acknowledge the truth of the real world .

I think it is perfectly alright that they practice and conduct magic, as they have been, like Shamans, for many many years have been conducting themselves in rituals of exorcism's. I don't think its fair, if one calls him or herself a " tollerant" individual to say that their magic is "wrong" or what have you. I don't point fingers even if they point fingers at me.

Doc Dillamond i need your opinion on people who say the are christian but use magic. do you think its fine do you thin it is not right tell me. Well it would depend on what one's definition of magick is. What is, when boiled down to it, magick? Is it as simple as a thought? Then they use magick all the time. Is it more complex, like doing something to create a desired consequence? They do that all the time, too. Magick, much like a lot of things in our world, is very hard to define....

Technically, there is no such thing as a "Christian Pagan". *steps back and watches riot ensue* Now, before you all wish me a painful death, let me explain: "Pagan" is an umbrella term for religions that do not worship the Abraham god; it is not a religion in itself. In Christianity today, there is no such thing as magic. Witchcraft is considered evil since, according to their teachings, it originates from the devil. It's something not to be taught, practiced, or accepted. End of story.
However, there are sects of Paganism that work Christian beliefs and teachings into their practices, such as Santeria, Hoodoo, branches of Italian Witchcraft, and others. This is because, during the times of the inquisition and when Christians began trying to convert Pagan areas, Pagans melded their beliefs together with Christian ones so they could still practice what they believed in, but would not be persecuted. Think of it as...rich cultural heritage. In this sense, sure...if Christians really wanted to, I'm sure they could practice witchcraft. I mean, my boyfriend practices Santeria, yet calls himself a Christian because his beliefs lie with the church. He believes in Jesus and everything that goes along with that, but his practices are part of his heritage and will choose a potion or quick spell or something (or ask me to whip something up) over going to the doctor. Yet, it's different from a Pagan religion. Make sense?
Is there so hate for the ones we love? Oh tell me, we both matter, don't we? It's you, it's you and me. C'mon, baby, c'mon darling, Let me steal this moment from you now.

I would say, this is by Baptist point of view, that it's a sin but by a Wiccan point of view I would say that it's strange but fine.
