What offensive items do you use in battle? (Such as Moltov or Taser)
What skills do you tend to use for common enemies?
Why do you like these skills/items?

For then Bolt Troops or Nut Mages, I use moltov. They're easy to come by in my opinion, and they remind me of Teepo and Nina's magic except I don't waste mp. I also like the Hour Glass Item. It gives you some fair time to attack a powerful monster with the monster attacking back for three or four turns.

As for skills, I use:
Transfer- Most of the time, a party member has a lot of mp that I don't use. So, this skill gives me more mp without using up my items.
Jump- It almost always hits for me and does a hefty amount of damage.
Steal- I think this speaks for itself. Everyone loves the items the enemies carry. smile
Magic Ball- It doesn't always work, but the skill looks awesome. So, I use it in less important battles just to see the effects.
Influence/ Command- This helps with berserk monsters and friend characters. So, I always keep this handy for safety measures. o.o
Identify- I use this to see items monsters usually carry. Though it costs some mp, it's better than looking for my guide book in the mess of games my family has. lol

Hey, Identify doesn't cost any AP. razz

I don't use too many offensive items since I'm a packrat and hate to completely run out of an item, but Ginseng (aka Vodka Shot in the earlier release) is pretty useful if you can get them. It's nice getting Tasers from the Volts at McNeil's manor, and Octopus are good for blinding Goos so you can get more EXP (or lower their stats in GooTitan's case).

For my low-level game, I use these skills a lot:
Focus- Builds up attack power of the next attack.
Double Blow- Some extra damage at low AP cost, nice since Ryu doesn't have much AP at low levels.
Super Combo- Combine with a few Focuses for crazy damage.
Monopolize- Makes only the user get the EXP for the fight. Good for keeping low-level characters low for the challenge. (You could also use this if you only wanted to level one character, say with the Lava Men trick).
Pilfer/Steal- Fun for getting stuff early, though for my challenge I'm not using any stat-ups like Protein or Life Shard.
Influence- Again, good for Rei. I'll later be using it for Berserk Kaiser smile

o.o; It doesn't? Could've sworn it did.
I seriously need to play those games over again if I can't remember something that simple.
