Eeylops Owl Emporium sells owls and supplies such as owl treats. The inside is dark and full of a low, soft hooting, rustling and the flickering of "jewel-bright eyes." Among the types of owls sold are Tawny, Screech, Barn, Brown, and Snowy.

Fleur walked in the dirty dump and asked for a snowy white owl or a white cat. The store keeper said "Sorry deary we only have owls at the moment." Fleur looked at him then snapped "Vell then get me a ovl." The shore keeper looked startled. "Right away miss." Then rushed off to find a suitable owl. The store keeper came back with a beautiful snowy owl, "Here you are Miss, what are you going to name him?" Fleur looked at the owl then said " 'Arry, I vink dat vill do." Then she took the cage and strode out the door.

May entered the store for the second time in her life. The last time had been a few days ago when she had bought a magical fish that wouldn't die if she forgot to feed him. She had no idea how she was going to explain her fish had died to him. The owner saw her and rushed over, "How's your fish sweetheart. Is he happy in his new home?" Said the man. May sighed as she smiled her sweetest smile, "Actually sir he died. Now I know what your thinking but it wasn't my fault I swear." The owner was completely perplexed, "How could you...well I can't give you anything else. I was certain you could handle it and it's our easiest pet." Said the owner. "Well I need a cat, so give me a cat and I will leave." The owner kept refusing until she threatend to kill all his animals. Finally he gave her a small kitty. May smiled and hugged the cat, "I'll name her Susan." "It's a boy." "Shut up who cares. Aren't you the cutest little thing." May held her new best friend in her arms and walked out, leaving the owner in shock praying for the cat's survial.
