Try this one on for side. Take a common thing in every regular household and turn it into a weapon with your creativity. Something like a vacuum, fan, grill, etc.
Explain your modifications to the best of your abilities. This is just for fun though if enough items are created then perhaps it could lead to something more.

How about having the grill be a turret? It would shoot burning coals at far away targets and if they get too close, it would shoot fire like a flamethrower.

Yes this makes sense. Wouldnt cause as much damage as a actual torrent but it would cause harm to a single person and deal fire damage to a wooden structure fairly easily.

I totally played this in English class, but it was a brick and a blanket. Had to make one or the other into something creative (ie. weapon, arm sling, et cetera).
I would totally use a fan to completely scare someone, even if the blades can't cut them. It would hurt a lot, I think. >D

Stick and appliance such as a toaster or a blender into a sheet. Makes a great makeshift flail.
Crowbar. 'Nuff said.
Screwdriver as a shiv.
Utensils.
Break off a chair leg, nice little club.
Garden hose as a whip or rope.
Attach a lawnmower blade to your ripped off chair leg. Your club is now a cleaver.
Pull apart scissors to make makeshift daggers.
Break a plate. Sharp pieces can make small shivs.
Take a razor, two popsicle sticks, and some floss. Put the razor in between the popsicle sticks and use the floss to tie it together. Yet another shiv.
Hold razors in between your fingers and punch someone. Sharp brass knuckles.
If you want more, just ask.

Tennis shoes - Beat someone with it until they're out cold.
Shoe laces - straggle them
doorknob - projectile
lightbulb - Break and use as a small shank.

vineco Ahaha i love it ^.^ So if zombies walk the street just grab a chair and fight back! I've written a zombie survival guide before, so yeah. A large part of it is makeshift weapons.

For weapon consideration always have a couple of beautiful items you can use as a club. Candle holders, tall vases, statues or even pictures and very heavy bowls or ashtrays

Candle holders, tall vases, statues or even pictures and very heavy bowls or ashtrays Only problem is the breakablity. You have to consider a few things: 1: Do most homes have it? 2: How many hits can I get before it breaks? 3: Will it do good damage?

Good point but you also have to think how much can a human body take before being knocked out cold. If you hit the person once in the head there is a very big possability that he/she will fall to the floor out cold.If he/she DOES take the hit you could still use it more. If it was in the situation of a man trying to capture a woman, the woman could easily hit the man in his most prized posetion. No man can deal with so much pain. That would give the woman a chance to escape.

Hahahaha you're just challenging me huh Ordon. You can use more than that. You can move your furniture into an order of when being attacked, they could be used as obstacles for the enemy. Also that you should go around your house looking for good exits that can be used in those types of situations.Maybe through a window or a back door of some kinf. YOu can go to the kitchen which personaly, I think has the best weapons. Knives, forks, pans, maybe even HOT pans. There are a lot of things you can use.
