CONFIRMED You can play as a boy or girl (should be common sense by now xd )
Pokemon can follow behind you (just like Pikachu in Pokemon Yellow)
All 493 Pokemon can follow behind you
Pokegear
All menus are controlled via Touch Screen
Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza are included
Arceus event
Pikachu-colored Pichu event with Notched Ear Pichu
The Kimono Girls of Ecruteak play a bigger role story-wise

According to PokeBeach, HG/SS is NOT compatible with WiiWare My Pokemon Ranch. Including the updated Platinum version of My Pokemon Ranch.
