i dont know whats up with that guy didnt he die from some hollow in the soul society and then he reappears as the 9th espada and wasnt he also Rukia's friend so did he even remember her at all when they met in las noches

*spoilers for the dub? idk where the dub is at right now sweatdrop *
Aaroniero isn't actually Kaien, Rukia's friend from Soul Society. After Kaien was killed by the hollow in the flashback, that hollow was absorbed by Aaroniero, giving him the ability to use Kaien's abilities as well as the hollow's. By absorbing the hollow that killed him, he also gained Kaien's memories as well, allowing him to use them against Rukia.

Nope, Aaroniero doesn't know Kaien. He just happened to absorb the hollow that killed him.
