As the subject states, this is the place to talk about your workout routine. What do you do, and why do you do it?

If you don't have one, what sort of routine would you like to have?

I do a Wii Fit workout and body test each morning, and walk a little under two miles (guessing) up and down my road, the return trip being uphill.

It's not much, but it's working well for me so far.

Sounds like a pretty decent routine to me ^^ I used to be really good about getting out and taking walks. Lately, the motivation to leave the house has been nonexistent... sweatdrop

I'm pretty good about walking, but I'm bad about remembering to use my wii fit...

My routine, lately, has been warm-up exercises, yoga, and kata practice. Between all of that, I'm kept pretty busy for about 70 minutes.

Sounds good!
So my problem today is that I woke up, got dressed and ready, checked on my animals (chickens), then went to change to my walking shoes and realized that it was now pouring rain.

Should I go out rain or shine? I normally would, but this is a cold rain and I'm not sure if it's smart to walk and let myself sweat in that sort of temperature.

I'd say go out with an umbrella, if you're really worried; I live in a place where it snows in winter, and the worst part of that for me is always the ice. The cold sucks, but that just makes taking a hot shower when you're done that much more satisfying. 3nodding

Yeah, I usually revert to walking indoors when the roads are slippery. Wii fit has a Free Step option.
Just set the time you want to walk for, switch to a good tv show, and walk in place until the wiimote tells you that you're done.

I find actually walking outside to be far more enjoyable though.
I found a really nice garter snake the other day and paused to shoo it off the road. I'm always happy to see those snakes, they eat all my garden pests XD

biggrin Nifty! I don't see a lot of snakes around here, but I get to do some bird-watching. Occasionally, there are deer, too.

I have a lot of deer, hawks, vultures, and sometimes turkeys.
It's pretty cool to see all the wildlife smile

My, but it's gotten quiet here... sad

This being a work day, I only got about 15 minutes of walking this morning.
I took a quick stroll from work to the historic Princeton Battlefield, and came across a life or death battle bwteen a beautiful blue and green dragonfly, and a large wasp.
I was really wishing that I'd had my camera! I stayed until the wasp finally won - by removing the poor dragonfly's head

Nature is cruel.

Well,It honestly varies from day to day.But I usually do yoga and pilates, though it might not seem like alot, but I do them pretty often.I also use my wii fit sometimes and jog in place in my house. On the weekends,I swim.

Just yoga can do some pretty excellent things -- props to you for doing yoga and pilates along with other stuff!

I was just thinking about getting back into swimming. I dunno if the nearest pool is going to be open all summer, though... It's on a college campus, and I don't know if the pool closes down for maintenance.

Since school let out a week ago, I'm doing at least an hour and a half a day on the Wii FitPlus and thirty minutes of cardio outside.

I see that walking and WiiFit and WiiFit Plus are common ground among most of us. c: Before my school let out, each morning I would wake up and I would eat breakfast. After I ate my breakfast I would do thirty minutes of either Strength Training, Yoga, or Aerobics on the WiiFit Plus and then I would do as many push-ups as I could knock out and one hundred sit-ups. Then during the school day I would have JROTC and we had physical training days in that specific class two days a week. Which would consist of usually doing mile runs, circuits to work the arms and legs, or games such as dodge ball, kick ball, etc.

Recently, I've been doing a two mile walk/sprint in the mornings before it gets really hot outdoors and then I will do thirty minutes of yoga on the Wii. I have recently been attempting to work myself up to one hundred push-ups a day and I have been doing one hundred sit-ups each morning. I am trying to go to the gym each morning (as I was able to do last Summer before/after work) but as of recently I haven't gotten that opportunity yet. This morning I stepped up my routine and did four miles and hope to go back later and do another two.
