Let out all your frustrations here, whether they be with stupid people on Gaia or stupid people IRL.
Situations. News. Complain. We'll all do it with you smile
Rules and/or Regulations: This is the vent tank, full of negative energy so don't be surprised if you say something that offends someone and they decide to offend you for doing something. Here, the cycle doesn't really end, and no one will stop you two from getting angry at each other. So long as you leave it here.
Maybe this should be called the fight tank? Meh. Whatever. Just, let it all out.

I hate to be the first but...
Throwing out a name: I Was a Revolutionary/Time to RagnaRAWK.
She's pretty much the stereotypical Left Wing Extremist. She curses for no obvious reason, except she often uses it to demean others. And she suggests the most ludicrous things, without even stating an example of how it would work, because it's "obvious".

I hate aspiring writers who can't spell the word 'write.' Actually, I hate everyone who doesn't make copious use of Firefox, with its convenient spell-checker. There is no excuse.

I hate people who think plaid Bermuda shorts are attractive and fashionable. They're not.
I also hate how women wear UGGs with skirts, y'know, to defeat the purpose of staying warm in the first place. I hate when they also wear huge sweatpants with UGGs, and the pant legs are spilling out of their boot.
I'm probably the only one with fashion-related things to vent. I'm just a loser like that. sweatdrop

Was supposed to go grab dinner with a friend but he mysteriously disappeared yesterday afternoon and I haven't heard from him since...
& Suburban : no worries, I'm an art student who's seriously considering a major in womenswear, so you'll probably hear some fashion-oriented vents from me at some point or another. And I also happen to hate sweatpants & UGGs, together or on their own.

It's generally always the same people wearing them as well, snotty little teenagers. Bleh.

Three things:
People screaming that Obama is a socialist and don't even know what it means.
People who want the healthcare system we currently have and change nothing.
People who want a fat tax and are okay with it because "dem fatties need to lose weight".
And El_Burrito_Grande: Sexist, 'military man' moron. Hard-headed as they come. Thinks the world should stop buying butter because we're all fatasses for liking a home cooked meal.

That damned new rule on the WF. So bloody stupid. I mean, any time a thread's in the wrong place, the mods don't care enough to put it in the right place, it goes in the chatterbox. When they get around to it, that is. So, if it's a decent thread that's in the wrong place, the only hope for it is if the poster re-posts. Which they're not going to know to do unless someone tells them.
Yeah, I know, there's a lot of assholes on the WF that do nothing but yell at people, but seriously? Not the way to fix it. And now they have something else to yell at! It's like curing TB with mercury!
Oh, and the organization of WF. There are plenty, plenty of decent threads that have nowhere to go. Got an individual writing exercise, want to throw it out there and see what other people come up with on it? Tough. Want to share a plot, but haven't written out the whole thing, and don't have a specific question about it? Too bad. Want to discuss literary theory as a writer? No place for it.
Oh yeah, and a "no repeat threads" rule, when the thread you're repeating is on page 54 or something, and hasn't been updated in months. Months.
So, yeah. WF in general.

Kita-Ysabell Oh yeah, and a "no repeat threads" rule, when the thread you're repeating is on page 54 or something, and hasn't been updated in months. Months. If I see another thread on fanficiton, I will shoot something. That was one of the reasons why I migrated to the Art Discussion forum because if there are six threads on the front page asking about if fanfiction is good or bad, there's something wrong. Some people like fanficiton, some people don't. LET IT REST.
