O_o Florida? Oh dear god he better say yes to performing at PMX again. *bugs her friend on PMX Staff* He can just make another stop there. T.T And it's right before his birthday, so we'd get to wish him a happy birthday.

Well, according to my friend, the labels read the forums of the cons, so if you generate a fanbase at the cons forums, the labels will send them there. That's what I got out of the convo with my friend and him talking to the guy at PMX. I made a note of that at the bottom of the thread I made so that people in Europe and other parts of the U.S. can also bring him there by making a fanbase for him in their own areas.

XD I'll see how much I have when the time comes. Then we can talk.

If you live in California, check out the thread I made about Miyavi & PMX. He *can* get invited again. The staffers will do what they can to try to get him to come, but the label will *also* read PMX's forums to see if there are fans who would go to PMX to see him. So if you want to see him there this year, post on the PMX forums and state that you want to see him come. If you don't live in CA and you live in another country or another state other than CA or Florida, you can probably do much the same with your local con if they're still looking for guests. Tell the staffers you want to see Miyavi at the con and post that you want to see him come on the forums so that the label can see that there are fans waiting for him. If you can make PMX at all though, I suggest posting on the PMX forums because I already know that the people in charge are going to try and if we can like group everyone together who can attend PMX 2005, the apparent fanbase that the label will see will look a lot bigger and less divided among all the cons around the country and then he'll be more likely to come.

PMX = Pacific Media Expo in Anaheim, California (across the street from Disneyland). He hasn't been invited there yet, but I've been talking to a friend of mine who staffs at the convention to try to get him invited. Check out the thread I made about it in the guild forum. The general consensus though from the guys in charge is that they'll talk to his label, but the label will want to see fans posting on the PMX website saying that they *will* go see him if he's invited, and thus encouraging them to book him for the convention. So all I ask is that people go to the PMX website's forums linked in the other thread and simply post in the guests subforum that you want him to come. Don't post here on Gaia, that doesn't help anything. PMX takes place in September about a week and a half before Miyavi's birthday (September 3-5), so if he gets invited there, we get a chance to wish him a happy birthday as well as enjoying his music.

It's not stopping me from trying, but so far the only people that have posted on the PMX forums are me and my sister. It's really sad because I see people on Gaia going "Oh, I'd go if Miyavi went to PMX!" and then I'm like "Great, so can you *please* go tell that to the PMX staffers on their forum like I asked?" because telling me doesn't get him here. Telling the staffers and his label you want him does and you can only tell them on the PMX forum. =/
