the greatest rpg in history started pre 90s but by the release of its firdt 3d title for the psone final fantasy seven(released in 1997) it was a world wide phenom wow what a great game

I LOVE Final Fantasy!
ive only played 8,X, X-2, and dirge of cerberus, but I seriously love this game!

Anyway, Final Fantasy kicks some major butt. I have played every game I could get my hands on, though I don't particularly like the newest ones.
Still, FF is made of win.

Even though I like 7, I have to say some people should take a look at the pre-7 games.
Awesome storylines there~
Though, I pretty much like the series as a whole.

My 2 favorites are VII, and IV. VI ain't bad, but I can't force myself to love it as much as other people do... V also had some awesome gameplay

Does anyone remember Final Fantasy? Gods, how can anyone forget?!
The legend still lives on strong! Of course FF7 and its spin-offs is my number one favorite, but then comes along 10 and 12. Then 1 and 2.
I'm looking forward to Dissidia, that's going to be epic. Of course I had to get Advent Children:Complete, that is definitely a must-have for people with a blu-ray player (or a PS3 in my case heart ). Epic battle is more epic.

I remember the very first final fantasy game ever. Final fantasy Mystic quest. It has to be one of the hardest ones in existance too. Super Nintendo FTW!!!!!!

Agreed.. Actually, it's funny... The first ff7 related thing I watched was advent children, and I made no sense whatsoever to me, even though I thought it was pretty cool. I had no idea about ff7 video games and such... then I realized it couldn't be making this much of no sense, even if it was something like porco rosso... which is awesome but nothing is really explained clearly.... anyway, I went and stayed up till like 3 one night and finally figured out the whole story. and was obsessed with zack and cloud for weeks. Yaay!

FF? I'm an FF veteran here - played all the good one's from I to X (and X-2, but that's where they went crap stare )

i remember final fantasy my first game was on the Play Station however i loved the story line and characters i just was never able to figure out what to do...i always got confused and i never finished the game... xd and i was young anyways i would get scaried of the monsters lol xd

final fantasy is another one of those games like mario and zelda games that will live on for the rest of eternity
i only played the ones on the nes -playstaion 1
after they went to playstation 2 i didnt play any of them i didnt have a ps2 at the time and only got one about 7 years ago
anyways i loved tactics(ps1 version only) i hated tactics for the ds it was uber lame
another of my favs was FF8 with squall and the floating city of doom
i got so confused on 7 that i dont think iever finished it in fact i dont think i got passed the first level
i always got lost after planting some bomb and the timer started ticking after that i was uber lost and couldnt find my way back the timer would always go off beofre i could escape and i would die in the bomb blast that was annoying
although i loved chocobo racing that was an interesting game
i still cant beielve they made a full on game out of the racing hing
