"Medium Spine Lizard" discovered in 1923 in Dorset, England by von Huene, described by C. A. Walker in 1964. Metriacanthosaurus lived during the Late Jurassic Period about 160 to 150 million years ago. It was 8 meters (26 ft.) in length, 3 meters (10 ft.) in height, and 2 tons in weight. Metriacanthosaurus can be found on Isla Nublar, though never witnessed on the tour. It could be seen listed on the JP Brochure Map found in the Ford Explorer tour vehicles and labeled on the embryo cold storage unit in the lab. The Metriacanthosaurus on Isla Nublar may be Yangchuanosaurus shangyouensis since it was thought to be a species of Metriacanthosaurus when InGen started cloning their dinosaurs - this was suggested by the JPInstitute Dinosaur Field Guide. It's also possible it is actually M. parkeri.
