
The "Mamenchi Ferry reptile" was discovered in China and described by Russel & Zheng in 1994.
Mamenchisaurus lived during the Late Jurassic around 161 to 156 million years ago. It was 35 meters (115ft) in length, 8 meters (26ft) in height and 25 tons in weight. It had one of the longest necks of any living animal at almost 15 meters (49ft).
Mamenchisaurus can be found on open areas on Isla Sorna as seen in The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
