Hair: Medium brown in color and fairly shaggy. It's not long enough to be able to cover his eyes... yet.
Eyes: Hazel
Clothing: Derek can often be found wearing a t-shirt, as well as loose fitting khaki cargo pants. Actually, he pretty much is always wearing a t-shirt of sorts with exception of more formal events. His right wrist usually has some sort of wristband, and he normally wears sneakers.
Likes: He enjoys the outdoors quite a bit, though not so much when it's raining or snowing. This is mainly because he can't really go out and skateboard or roller blade in poor weather. But for those days, he likes to play various video games to kill the time. Over all, he enjoys challenges, as well as to practice his skills so that he could improve. In terms of food, he's actually borderline vegetarian. Borderline, because he'll still eat fish. But that's pretty much it for when it comes to meat. Also, he takes interest in various martial arts and does what he can to learn more about them.
Dislikes: As mentioned above, he doesn't care much for bad weather or most meats. In general, he also doesn't enjoy being bossed or pushed around. Nagging also tends to annoy him, but that's something that would probably annoy most people.
Personality: Derek is somewhat of a free spirit and is fairly headstrong. He more or less does what he wants, when he wants. Often, he'll consider what others want to do, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll abide by it. This usually means that he'll end up going off to do something on his own, which he doesn't mind. Either that or he'll come off lazy. That aside, he's rather friendly towards others. To some extent he's also a bit dense or naive, as he usually doesn't pick up when others dislike him for whatever reason. Or... if he does, he just doesn't really think about or pretends to not notice it. It can be hard to tell sometimes. Also, its this sort of density that he sometimes ends up saying things that may be a bit offensive towards others. It's all unintentional though, or at least it appears that way. Over all, he's just as happy with or without company. If there are people around, he'll try and mingle and make friends. If not, he'll be content with doing whatever by himself.
Background: Both his parents are a myriad of ethnicities, so he isn't quite sure what he is exactly. All he knows is that he has a little bit of British, Native American, and Polish somewhere in his bloodlines. Derek was born in the suburbs of Los Angeles as an only child. It was there that he started his interest in skateboarding and in martial arts; learning the former on his own and taking some classes for the latter. When he was 10, his parents and him moved into the city as they found that commuting every day was starting to be more of an inconvienence. Over time, he learned about Shibusen; hearing about it in various places. It sparked his interest, to say the least, so he sought it out to see if he could get in.

Hair: Andre has straight shoulder length hair that is more or less black (technically dark brown).
Eyes: His left eye is dark brown while the right eye is blue.
Clothing: He's usually found wearing relatively dark clothing; often a t-shirt and jeans. He also usually wears a light hooded jacket of sorts. Both ears have a single piercing in the lobe and he tends to wear a couple normal and relatively plain rings on his fingers.
Likes: Andre likes to mess around with people sometimes, in a sort of friendly way. It's basically just light teasing for the most part. He'll eat just about anything, though he does enjoy his meats quite a bit. He also enjoys a good fight, whether its an actual fight or just some light sparring.
Dislikes: To some extent, he actually doesn't like Derek a whole lot, and sees him somewhat as a rival. Oh yes, he hates being asked if he knows Chinese (he barely knows any), being made fun of for his eyes, and absolutely hates it if anyone is either picking on or giving his twin sister a hard time.
Personality: Andre can be a little rough around the edges in that he can be pretty blunt or sometimes rude towards others... especially when his sister is involved. He is highly protective of her; being distrustful of anyone who tries to hit on her, and completely loathing of anything that tries or ends up hurting her. He is also fairly competitive, which is more or less the cause of his feelings of rivalry towards Derek. Andre can also be a bit on the impulsive side as sometimes he might rush in on things without thinking things completely through. Even if he thinks it's a bad idea, but feels that it would be the right thing to do, he'll likely go through with the idea unless Aryana manages to talk him out of it. For the most part, he's tolerant of other people, but doesn't necessarily go out of his way to try and play nice or make friends. Earning trust with him can take some time.
Background: Andre and Aryana grew up in Chicago as well and had to pretty much fend for themselves. This was mainly because their parents were always out working, so they needed to take care of themselves most of the time. In grammar school, they had it a bit tough, always being picked on due to their heterochromia. Andre tended to take these sorts of remarks more personally, which usually got him into fights with his peers. That aside, when they were children, Aryana had a tendency to fall ill fairly easily. During these times, Andre took care of her and further building up on his protectiveness for her. He did what he could to watch out for his twin. She did the same, though usually in less violent manners. But it was during one of these schoolyard scuffles (though in highschool now) that they ended up shifting into their weapon forms for the first time. The sudden transformation, thankfully, scared off the opposition for the time being.
Weapon Form: A hook sword; it appears like a normal hook sword, though attached to the hilt is some black silk.

Hair: Aryana has long dark hair; the back is usually kept in a small bun while her bangs hang freely.
Eyes: Her left eye is blue while the right is dark brown/black (opposite of her twin)
Clothing: She wears a small jade pendant around her neck and has a few loose bracelets of sorts around both wrists. Aryana normally wears jeans, as well as a tank top. Common colors for her are white and red.
Likes: She enjoys more quiet environments as well as more peaceful situations. Like her brother, she really isn't picky at all and eats just about anything. Aryana enjoys a good read; mostly fantasy and sci-fi books, as well as studying random things that spark her interest.
Dislikes: While she's appreciative of her brother's care, she doesn't like it so much when he gets overprotective of her. She also doesn't enjoy excessive violence, but is willing to fight for the right cause.
Personality: Aryana, unlike her twin, is rather amiable and outgoing. For the times that her brother starts to act up, she normally takes on an apologetic approach to whoever they're interacting with. She knows he means well, but it gets a bit much at times. Over all, she's more soft spoken and gentler than her brother. In social situations, she's more likely to be out talking to others... while under the watchful eye of Andre's. Also, in contrast to her twin, she's more likely to think things through a little more. It's very rare that she'll do something that's rash, especially if danger is involved. She would rather formulate a plan, instead of going with her 'gut instinct'. This... is probably a good thing, considering how her brother and Derek can be at times. But speaking of which, she is often the voice of reason for Andre whenever he starts to cave into some of his impulses. That being said, she's quite patient and isn't easily angered.

"What did you just say?" growled Andre while getting up from his seat and approached the guy that was supposed to be wielding him and his sister. He had a rather intense glare on his face; in contrast to Aryana who seemed to just sigh.
Derek, who was just smiling rather amiably at the two, didn't seem to notice the aggression that was now emanating off of the male twin. For all he cared (or knew), the guy could have just had a bad day. In any case, he didn't think it had anything to do with what he just said.
"I said it's kinda cool how your eyes are all different colors and stuff. Kinda contrasting too. Though it's kinda weird though, are you both blind in one eye?" he repeated.
"Why you little.. I'll make YOU blind in one eye!"
The male twin was just about to swing a punch at their technician, but stopped as he felt a hand gently grab onto his arm. Looking back, he saw his sister who had a rather soft expression now. She looked at him, as if asking her brother to calm down. After a few moments had gone by, Andre let out a sigh and relaxed, but not before shooting Derek another glare.
"I'm sorry about that," said Aryana softly, "He isn't very tolerant of comments on our eyes. But no, we are not blind in any way."
While the twins were exchanging glances earlier, Derek had just been watching silently and somewhat in confusion. The way they were able to communicate without words made him wonder if they were telepathic at all. It didn't quite occur to him that they just knew each other well enough to be able to read one another's looks and body movements easily.
"Ah no problem," he said with a shrug, though he wasn't really certain as to what the problem was, "Anyway, I think we have our first mission coming up. Are you guys ready for that?"

Living details: The three live in a two bedroom apartment with the boys sharing one room (grudgingly on Andre's part) with bunk beds and Aryana getting her own space. Aryana's room is a bit smaller than the other bedroom, though. They have a small kitchen, one bathroom, and an area acting as the living room. Each room has a dried up tangerine; something that was just for good luck during Chinese new years (they just never got rid of it). Soul resonance: Well it won't be easy getting to this point; especially with the friction between Andre and Derek. It'll be easier for Derek to match wavelengths with Aryana though. I'm not really sure what it'll be like either.. I'm thinking that Derek will be able to move considerably faster. So he'll be able to kinda zip here and there attacking multiple times in rapid succession. Either that, or it'll have something to do with the linked-spin attack type thing that is done with the hooks. Maybe several spikes jut out from the blade as Derek spins it... or maybe a mini vortex/tornado made of soul wavelength will be created when he does it. References: Hook swords .
