Warning: Possible Spoilers!
Okay, so Fallout 3 has been generous with the DLC, providing consistently good content which to me, at least, really enhances the game. Broken Steel, despite the name, fixes the game, because really, who wants a game that ENDS at the end, right? Personally, I think there's no contest that as far as Fallout 3 DLC, Broken Steel is the hands-down winner. I've excluded it from the poll for this reason; it should have been on the game in the first place, dag-nummit!
But what do you guys think of the others?
Operation: Anchorage - A simulation of the liberation of Anchorage, Alaska The Pitt - Go to the ruins of Pittsburgh and help (or hinder) a slave rebellion Point Lookout - Explore a swamp and partly-abandoned fairground to learn the secret of the local cultists; watch out for mutant hillbillies! Mothership Zeta - Abducted by aliens? Fight your way to the bridge and take over the ship!
Do you have a favorite? Why? for the story-content? for the extra weapons and gear? for the look and feel?
I know I'd be hard-pressed to pick which one I like best. I'm not sure if I could!
Again, not counting Broken Steel (because-it-is-the-win), which is your favorite DLC for Fallout 3

Operation: Anchorage[color=white] Operation: Anchorage. Enter a military simulation and fight in one of the greatest battles of the Fallout universe – the liberation of Anchorage, Alaska from its Chinese Communist invaders. Gain access to unique armor, weapons, and exotic gadgets while you build and command interactive Strike Teams to win the battle and defeat the Chinese base. It's like a video game within a video game, with "video game" mechanics that feel a lot more like a linear game than Fallout 3 itself; Ammo & Health replenishers, enemies that vanish after you kill them, enemies that respawn if you stand around for too long, and stuff along those lines. Overall it's pretty short, you cannot go back to Anchorage once you leave, and in fact, some areas are "cut off" after you've been there and left, making you unable to go back and pick up things you missed or forgot. The landscapes are beautiful, the sky is achingly clean, and the snow is crunchy and bright. New Perks:• Covert Ops New Items: • Gauss Rifle • Trench Knife • Chinese Stealth Armor • Winterized T-51b Power Armor • Jingwei's Shock Sword • Neural Interface Suit • Outcast Specialist Robe ==================== The Pitt[color=white] The Pitt allows you to travel to the post-apocalyptic remains of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and become embroiled in a conflict between slaves and their Raider masters. Explore a sprawling settlement ravaged by time, neglect, nuclear radiation, and moral degradation. The Pitt is filled with morally grey choices, shady NPCs, new enemies, new weapons, and much more. This feels a lot more like the Fallout we know and love; polluted, irradiated, and filled with human scum. The plot hook is an escaped slave who recruits you to help the others and steal the cure for the disease that plagues the residents of the Pitt. It is about as linear as Anchorage, with you needing to do certain tasks in order to proceed, but there are a lot more options, much more like what we're used to. Like so much in the real world, there is no "right" or "wrong" way to do this, good and evil are entirely subjective. New Perks:• Auto Axpert • Booster Shot • Pitt Fighter New Items • Ashur's Power Armor • Bombshell Armor • Filtration Helmet • Gamma Shield Armor • Hat of the People • Laborer Outfit • Leather Rebel • Metal Master Armor • Raider Iconoclast Armor • Raider Commando Armor • Raider Throwdown Armor • Raider Ordinance Armor • Raider Paingiver Armor • Supervisor Helmet • Tattered Slave Outfit • Tribal Power Armor • Worn Slave Outfit • Welder's Mask • Weapons Auto Axe • Infiltrator • Man Opener • The Mauler • Perforator • Metal Blaster • Steel Knuckles • Steel Saw • Wild Bill's Sidearm
==================== Point Lookout[color=white] Point Lookout opens up a massive new area of the Wasteland – a, dark, murky swampland along the coast of Maryland. So hop on the ferry to the seaside town of Point Lookout, for the most mysterious and open-ended Fallout 3 DLC adventure yet. The enemies are tough, the story is neat, and there is certainly a lot to do. The map is huge--you get an Achievement for finding all of the locations, and even then you might not see everything there is to see. It is big and interesting enough that you can potentially get a new "home" in the region to store your loot and rest up between quests. There is a lot to collect and see in this expansion; in addition to a pile of new wearables and weapons, there are a bunch of random nifty things. New Perks:• Ghoul Ecology • Punga Power! • Superior Defender New Items: • Confederate Hat • Cryptochromatic Spectacles • Desmond's Eyeglasses • Grifter's Fit • Pint-Sized Slasher Mask • Tribal Garb • Workman's Coveralls • Handyman Jumpsuit • Police Hat • Axe • Backwater Rifle • Bio-Gas Canister • Double-Barrel Shotgun • Fertilizer Shovel • Lever-Action Rifle • Microwave Emitter • Ritual Knife • Shovel • The Dismemberer • Toy Knife
==================== Mothership Zeta[color=white] Defy hostile alien abductors and fight your way off of the massive Mothership Zeta, orbiting Earth miles above the Capital Wasteland. Mothership Zeta takes Fallout 3 in an entirely new direction – outer space. Meet new characters and join with them in a desperate bid to escape the Aliens’ clutches. To do so, you’ll wield powerful new weapons, like the Alien Atomizer, Alien Disintegrator, and Drone Cannon, and deck yourself out in brand new outfits, like the Gemini-Era Spacesuit and even Samurai Armor. This expansion uses a lot of brand-new models and textures, making for a very different experience from the rest of Fallout 3; things are shiny, high-tech, and dangerous! It is a pretty awesome experience, overall, with tons of loot. The final battle was amazing; what at first seemed kinda anti-climatic turned into an awesome showdown, with stellar graphics. New Perk:• Xenotech Expert New Items: • General Chase's Overcoat • Paulson's Outfit • Samurai Armor • Samurai Helmet • Sheriff's Hat • Spacesuit • Winterized Medic Armor • Winterized Medic Helmet • Alien Atomizer • Alien Disintegrator • Atomic Pulverizer • Captain's Sidearm • Cryo Grenade • Cryo Mine • Destabilizer • Drone Cannon • Drone Cannon Ex-B • Electro-Suppressor • MPLX Novasurge • Paulson's Revolver • Samurai's Sword • Shock Baton

Hmmm... I may have to get back to you on this one. I've finished Operation Anchorage and the Pitt - and I'm currently going through Broken Steel (so don't tell me the ending! gonk ). I've seen my brother play through Point Lookout but I haven't tried that yet. Judging by it's atmosphere, new villains and abilities - I think I'd enjoy Point Lookout the most. I can't really say for sure since I haven't tried it sweatdrop but it seems like it would be my favourite out of the bunch >_>

Either the Pitt, or Point Lookout. I hated Operation Anchorage. Mothership Zeta was not very exciting, but I wouldn't drop any cool alien stuff so I went though a lot of the game over-encumbered. : D

Well I would have to say Mothership Zeta was my favorite, it was really cool and reminded me of Star Trek, so I loved it. I wish that it had more story but it was still cool

Yikes, I forgot that the PS3 got shafted on the DLC front. sad
I personally didn't enjoy the gameplay of Operation: Anchorage ... but the items? I live in the Chinese Stealth Suit. It is my home. I love being invisible, sneaking up on everything, getting tons of stealth-kill bonuses, oh-yeah. And the Shocksword is love. And Gauss Rifle is also love. heart
For sheer awesomeness, I liked Mothership Zeta. It's like, okay, I want a full game along those lines now, space ships, space battles, aliens, all that good stuff. I got through it way too fast. That and I wish I could bring home a lot of the random doohickeys-that-have-no-purpose. I'm into home decor and I want those awesome dodecahedrons! @_@
Point Lookout had a fun story, and a fun setting. I don't think I really use anything I brought back from there, but a lot makes for good decor items. Nothing like a few jugs of moonshine and a fishing pole to liven up the ole homestead.

I don't understand why people keep voting for Operation Anchorage. I hated that one so much, I couldn't even finish it. The Pitt's weapon, Man Opener, is my favorite. I use all the crazy alien stuff from Mothership Zeta as house decor, and the Backwater Rifle is my back-up weapon.

I mean, I love the items I got for finishing Operation: Anchorage, but playing it was a huge headache. And it's the only DLC where you can't go back, except to the Outcast Outpost ... confused

I wasn't too fond of Operation Anchorage either. =| I don't know if it was just me, but I found it incredibly irritating to pick up items in that DLC - -' In the middle of battle, if I wanted to pick up an item - like a grenade for example - I'd have to zoom my camera in and stare at it for a good second or 2 before I could pick it up neutral And the story for that one made no sense IMO. I mean, play a virtual game to open up a safe/vault? Why would someone set up something like that? .__.
Although, I have to admit - I love the Gauss Rifle and Winterized T-51 Battle armor you receive after you beat the game. 3nodding But it's definitely not one of my favourite DLCs to play through.

They changed the Fallout 3 trophy data for PS3 so it seems like the DLC is coming soon. I had 100% but now it's showing 57%.

I'm slow.
I collected tons of loot from Mothership Zeta, but I couldn't figure out what Alien Epoxy was for, and never bothered to look it up. I had a bunch because it was 0-weight and I am a packrat... Apparently it REPAIRS YOUR WEAPONS. eek
100% Gauss Rifle? Tesla Cannon? Other 1-off weapons that cannot be repaired?
Woo!
