Helmut Fritz (real name : Éric Greff) is a French singer from Béning-lès-Saint-Avold (Moselle), particularly known for his 2009 single "Ça m'énerve", in which he is portraying a German singer. The single was released on March 2009, reached number one in France and was produced by Laurent Konrad.
To confirm his identification with the song "Ça m'énerve"(It gets on my nerves), the character of Helmut Fritz has a dummy biography written by Eric Greff.
Dummy biography
This biography is imaginary, it describes Helmut Fritz character's life, not that of Éric Greff
Born in Reinbek (Germany), the little Helmut Günter von Fritz is the Rudy von Fritz and Annegret Spiegeln's only child. His parents run a Fritzhoff, small factory of knitted pullovers, that guarantee low earnings for them. But they live a life of Riley.
In 1998, Helmut's great-granduncle, the baron Titten von Fritz, dies trambled by a wild boar during a game hunting. Helmut is the only heir of a 300 millions of deutschemarks fortune. Rich but also stingy, he buys a secondhand vespa, gives his parents money and leaves Germany.
He arrives in Paris and putting up little-by-little with his fortune, he leads a high life. However, this life of « happy purse », as he describes it, weighs heavy more and more on him.
In 2009, victim of a profound boredom, Helmut cracks up. Too many high parties, haute couture, previews, everything... Ça l'énerve (It gets on his nerves)! He wants to talk about it with someone and meets the DJ Laurent Konrad in a queue of Virgin Galactic. He suggests making a song about his dissolute life to Helmut.
