Anatotitan copei (?)

The "giant duck" is a lesser known duck-billed dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous period. The original specimen was discovered in 1882 by Edward Drinker Cope in Hell Creek and named by Lull & Wright in 1942. Edward Drinker Cope was a famous paleontologist involved in the legendary Bone Wars and organized several paleontology expeditions to go into the mid-west and further everyone’s understanding on dinosaurs.
Anatotitan was 12 meters (39.4ft) long, 3.7 meters (12ft) high and weighed 4 tons. It lived in the Late Cretaceous, around 65.5 MYA. Another species is presently known in this genus A. longiceps and A. copei might be a species of Edmontosaurus.

This animal is heavily debated to be on Isla Sorna due to a supposed skull found in the Rex Nest in The Lost World; however, there is no other film evidence to support this claim. The skull was compared to other known hadrosaurs to see if it was a Maiasaura, Edmontosaurus or Hadrosaurus. Maiasaura and Edmontosaurus skulls were too short and Hadrosaurus does not have skull known to science. It was then concluded that the only skull to match up was obviously Anatotitan.
