PERSONALITY
Compared to most of the teachers in Hogwarts, Alliana is a disciplinarian, however she is not an authoritarian. She will assert her power, but only if the student makes her mad enough. It is hard for her to get angry enough to actually punish any of her students, even those bold, annoying Gryffindors. She does her best to keep control in her classroom, and because of that, her students respect her enough, usually. Her punishments can range anywhere from lines to essays to scrubbing cauldrons.
Outside of the classroom, however, Alliana is a quiet, but caring woman. Due to her childhood, it is really rare for Alliana to grow close to anyone, but she grows closer to men than she does women. Alliana tends to be considered “one of the guys” so she can often be found in the woods digging through the dirt for what she needs, not buying it. She also enjoys a good wrestling match, a product of spending so much time with her brother.
Alliana likes to have a good time when she’s with people she knows though. She’s gone out partying with a few co-workers, but she didn’t party to her fullest extent. Her brother finds himself staying sober so he can look out for his little sister. She tends to try and make everyone else happy around her. When someone comes to her with a problem, she gives them a nice herbal tea and listens to it all the way through. Afterward, she advises them what she would do and helps them on their way.

LOOKS
Appearence:
Alliana appears a confident, firm woman. She acts like the pureblood she is in public, though she never, in public or not, will look down on muggleborns and as such is seen as a compassionate woman as well, to a fault. Alliana looks like the kind of girl who will sooner curse you than ask a question, even though those who know her know that isn’t the case.
Alliana enjoys wearing blue, silver, and green, or any combination of the three. Occasionally she can be seen wearing brown leather corsets over her dresses, though those are only on days that she’s having the students write essays. Making potions in a corset is difficult! She wears her hair up on potions days, but the rest of the time she wears it pin straight and down. Some days she can be seen wearing dresses or hats that make her French heritage stand out extremely.
Make-up is a rarity for her, and she only wears it for special events, and even then it’s used sparingly. She doesn’t usually look rough, but she does look stuck-up. Most people would never guess that she’s the kind of girl to go out and wrestle in the mud.

Detailed:
Alliana was born to a very well off pureblood family. They lived in Calais, France for the first two years of Alliana’s life, the first three of her older brother James’. When they moved to Dover, England, there was a new life waiting for them. Their last name wasn’t very well known, though a few in Dover and lower England had heard of them and they were a very happy family there. Alliana and James didn’t find themselves making friends with many people and found their only solace in each other.
When James was eleven, he got his letter to Hogwarts, which made Alliana both happy and sad. She was thrilled that her brother was so happy, but she was sad because she knew that now she’d have to make new friends. Slowly, she allowed one of the pureblood girls into her life, growing to be friends with her, but not nearly as close as she was with her brother. When her brother came home, she was glued to him. He was a Slytherin and she was so proud of him. When both of their letters came, they went to Diagon Alley together and James proudly showed her around.
Of course, James had made a few enemies at Hogwarts. Some of these enemies found her in the alley while her brother was buying quills and took her into Knockturn Alley. They bound her and kicked her in the stomach three or four times when suddenly a red jet of light knocked one of the boys beating her away and the others backed off. Her brother stood at the mouth of the alley and quickly came to her, untying her and pushing her behind him. His wand was at the ready and she never was more thankful to her brother than in that moment.
Her school years were fairly uneventful. She followed all the rules, but she knew that her brother didn’t. Alliana followed James around everywhere, though, and made only one friend in her year. When her brother graduated, she stuck around this friend, but found herself not fitting in with the girl’s group and fell in with a few male Slytherins that her brother had approved of when he was in school. Over the summer, though, these boys had taken a turn for the worse and they pulled so many pranks on the Gryffindors that Alliana spent most of her time in detention. She was pretty much the fall girl, since she was so compassionate and protective, she wouldn’t let them take a fall. One of her professors, however, saw that she wasn’t really doing all of the pranks, just taking all the wrap, and as such, asked her to stay at Hogwarts as his understudy.
Alliana has been the potions master since she was 20 years old.

PERSONALITY
[Rosalynn was a very happy, kind, compassionate girl, not unlike some of the Hufflepuffs in some senses. She does, however, get hung up on blood. Any person half blood or less isn't worth her time in her mind. She is spoiled, though not overly so. After her sister died, Rosalynn's kind, compassionate attitude went down the drain and she was only kind to those who she spoke with before the accident. It takes more work than anyone is willing to do to get into her secret place in her heart.
Somewhere along the line, Rosalynn managed to gain a protective streak and she was now getting in fights nearly every day defending her friends or herself. She's smart, though, only talking trash until someone else casts the first spell. After that, she hexes them into oblivion and moves on with her life like nothing happened. That wasn't to say her mouth didn't get her into trouble. She tended to smart off at all the wrong times and to anyone who crossed her, professors included.
Somtimes she was a sweet girl in the classrooms, a ghost of what she used to be in her first two years. She just took the death of her sister too hard and didn't bother reaching out to anyone for help. Because of that, she knows that it's her fault she is the way that she is and as such, just ignores all of the loneliness that she keeps locked underneath a thick layer of sarcasm and misplaced rage.]

LOOKS
Appearence:
Rosalynn tends to look normal to most, if only a little stand-offish. She tends to dress in black, white, and green, but never all three at once. She wears a black jacket with green fur around the hood and coating the inside. The shirt she wears beneath it can be either black and white stripes or black and green stripes. Her jeans are either white or black.
Since she fights so much, everyone sees her as a rough-neck pureblood. Her eyes are different colors, one deep sapphire colored and one a shocking emerald color. Usually they are very intense, and she tends to scare some people off because of it. Her pale skin and natural black hair make her look odd, almost vampyric. Her inky black hair is cut in an angle, the shortest part in the back of her head and only as long as her skull, the front dusting her shoulders.
Rosie is pretty evened out, having an hourglass figure, and she looks like a godess to most of the guys, but she decided that she would just not care and scare people off with her eyes.

Detailed:
Rosalynn was born December 31st, 1998 to a pureblood family in Holyhead, so naturally she was a Holyhead Harpies fan from day one. She is a huge fan of quidditch and secretly hopes to become one of the Holyhead Harpies, though she would never tell her Death Eater family about that.
The first time little Rosie met her first Death Eater, she was five years old, and in awe. The Death Eater, a very, very tall man with firm Russian features, disregarded her and instead favored her sister, who was nearly ten. The man praised her appearance and her physical capabilities and told her that she would excell at magic as well and be the perfect Death Eater. Since then, Rosie was found with her sister, Amilia.
That's when Rosalynn's entire world was shifted out of balance.
It was nearly eight years since the first incident with the Death Eater--who were now regular sightings for the now teen--and she was shopping in Knockturn Alley for some new trinkets to decorate her room with her sister when a few Aurors came out of nowhere. They attacked her sister, who was a well known Death Eater, and she, like an idiot, fought back, pushing Rose out of the reach of the Aurors and trying to keep them from seeing her. Amilia knew what, at the time, Rose did not. If the Aurors found her with a known Death Eater, Rose would not get to go back to Hogwarts and would not be able to learn the rest of her magic. So Amilia whispered the last words she would ever say to her sister.
"Run."
She didn't listen. Instead, she backed into a side alley and watched the fight from there. The Aurors were demanded to take Amilia Jameson the Death Eater and it was only now, staring across the street while her sister fought that Rose saw the terms. Dead Or Alive were the words that were glaring at Rose from a weather-worn Wanted poster with her sister's face glaring out, shaking her head and holding her wand near her face. Rose wondered when it had been taken, but only for a moment. She heard a couple of people shout an unfamiliar spell at once and watched her beautifully blonde sister fall to the ground, her eyes wide as she met eyes with her younger sister she'd been fighting so hard to protect. Her eyes were strained with the last moments of pain she would ever feel and Rose saw her mouth the word "run" one more time.
This time, Rosalynn listened.
She spent the entire summer mourning her death, replaying the memory over and over whenever she was alone. She recieved the letter from Hogwarts telling her what she needed to get for school this year and she was uninterested and unexcited, but if her parents saw that, she would have to tell them that she was there for her sister's death, and she wasn't prepared to face that kind of pain just yet. So, she decided she would put on the greatest act and pretend like she was ecstatic for the school, though inside she was dreading the very thought of a classroom.
Rosie has never forgotten her sister's face, the absolute pain and desparation in her eyes as she faced death and fearing her sister meeting the same fate. The image haunted her dreams and sometimes, if the stress of school was too bad, she saw the faces of the aurors in her dream, only this time, they were hunting her. Dead Or Alive were the only words that were spoken in any of her dreams.
She'd managed to survive school the year following her sister's death, though it's effects were still imparing her everyday ability to function. That inability to care carrid over her fourth year and she was now the same as she had been in her third year. Unenthused.
