personality
Nathaniel is a calculating sort of individual, the kind who knows exactly what he wants from life and aims to get it no matter what. He's polite and courteous, and he knows how to flatter, but he saves his flatteries for people he thinks can help him get what he wants. Those who can't he tends to brush aside, and he doesn't have much patience for people who waste his time. He's stuffy, pushy, thinks he knows best, has to have everything just so, which can make him infuriating to be around at times. He rarely listens to other peoples' opinions, and when he does it's usually to scoff at them and suggest his own, better plan. However, if he respects you, he'll take your ideas into consideration, and whether he respects you or not, you'll never see him acting anything less than courteous around you, even if the courtesy is an icy sort of afterthought. He follows rules to the letter, and never lets someone down once he's made a promise or decided to do something. Nathaniel is, if not easy to deal with, absolutely reliable. Driven by an impressive amount of zeal and eager to improve upon his own talents, he's studious and industrious, and as a boy of ever-growing abilities, he won't hesitate to use them to assist himself and those he trusts.
