Prepare yourselves for a trip like no other. A trip to dimension much like our own, with a world much like our own. However, this Earth like world is not the setting of our story. Instead, another planet, many light-years away is. The planet was named Gaea Prime, of the Prime star system. It is an earth-like planet in many ways and yet so very much not like Earth at all. It contains many plants and animals, even a sentient and fairly intelligent race of bipedal creatures. The main differences however is that the plants on this planet are the primary predators, being incredibly aggressive and almost intelligent in how they trap, hunt and kill the animals of this planet for sustenance. Humans found and attempted to colonize this planet many centuries prior, however, it was quickly discovered that most modern technology was useless on this planet due to a strong electromagnetic field covering the planet. On top of that, it seemed to have no natural fossil fuels either. So, to compensate the residents on this planet regressed back to the use of steam powered technology, due to the near over-abundance of water on the planet. However, one day, colony ships and transporters as well as merchant ships just suddenly stopped coming to the planet and all communication was dropped. For the past several centuries the people of this planet have been stranded and been forced to adapt very quickly to the harsh and deadly environment. They salvage everything and anything they can from what’s left behind and fashion what they can for themselves. They have also, for the most part, befriended the bipedal race of the planet, known as the Dwroan. The Dwroan, though much more primitive than us, showed very quickly they were much more physically adept than us. It was later found that the atmosphere of Gaea was thick with nutrients of an unknown kind that seemed to have positive effects on living beings. It is rumored that it is the reason behind the plants evolution. Also, after centuries of living here humans have begun displaying signs that they too are being affected by these strange nutrients.
However, this is where our story ends. Why you ask? Quite simple, you haven’t written it yet. This is the story of your life on this inhospitable planet.
From here on out it is up to you to decide how your story will end.

Geno sat in the corner of his dimly lit room reflecting on the craftmanship of his house. He had built it himself, down the mountain on the edge of the jungle, near a pool of water in a private grove he had discovered a long time ago. At first glance his house wasn't much, he had designed his house to be similar to a bunker, there was one level above ground but that was all fortified steel and security systems. The first level was designed to keep things OUT of his house with its thick steel doors and fortified walls. After one passed through the outer, middle, and inner door they would arrive at a large elevator. The inner door was technically the door for the elevator but it too served as a valuable defense. The elevator was designed to be able to carry heavy objects or large quantities of objects down into the lower levels.
The lower levels of the bunker were the cozier, more home based rooms: bathrooms, showers, kitchen, living room, weapon storage, closets, etc. There wasn't much for entertainment, he had a radio hooked up to a dish on his roof that picked up chatter from the civilizations up the mountainside sitting on a table in living room. The living room was very cluttered, it served as a bedroom, and a library. Books of all kinds lay around on the floor, on shelves, or on tables. Most of these books were written by Geno himself talking about his findings while roaming the jungle: Dangerous plants and animals, medicinal plants, animal behaviors and patterns, observations, sketchbooks, and many journals retelling his teachings from the Dwroan, the natives of planet Gaea who he had gotten very close to.
Geno was one of the very few people who decided to try to live on the outskirts or in the jungle, surviving on their own, using the teachings of the Dwroan to assist them. Many of these foolhardy men and women wouldn't last a month however, the planet was extremely hostile, even the plants hunted for food. Geno was very successful due to his creative ingenuity and close ties with the Dwroan. After talking with the chieftan, he was granted permission to live among them and learn their ways. The knowledge he gained put him far ahead of the other people who tried to walk this path.
Geno looks over to the weapons room impassivly. The weapons room held probably the best thing he had for surviving in the jungle, his glaive, and his gauntlets, all of which he created himself from materials he borrowed from the "civilized", the humans living in forts on the mountains. Geno also used the weapons room for mixing poisons for his crossbow. The jungles of Gaea possesed some of the most deadliest animals in the galaxy, but some of the most lethal of these animals were smaller then a human.
Geno looked over into the kitchen at the enormous refridgerator and freezer wondering if he should make something to eat. Geno's house was powered by a large waterfall that poured into the grove, and by the fast water leaving the lake and flowing downriver. Most other electronics didnt work on Gaea, there was some sort of electromagnetic barrier around the planet that screwed with navigation and disabled most other things.
Walking over to the weapons room Geno decided he would investigate the northwest area of the jungle past his home. He donned his gauntlets and checked that his glaive was in good condition and headed to the elevator lift to go explore the jungle.

Sora sits on the wall of his camp overlooking the ledge and the vast drop off to the jungle. The civilized camps or "civilizations" that he lived in were built on the mountain side, the only place to truly be considered safe. Sora was thinking about taking a nap when Jett and Zeak, two of his academy buddies came up.
Jett: "Hey Sora, daydreamin again?" Sora: "Yea. I was gonna take a nap until u guys showed up." Zeak: "We got a challenge for ya, watta ya say? You up for it?" Sora: *yawns* "Yea I guess, whats the challenge?"
Jett quickly draws his bow and fires an arrow straight over the ledge. Zeak draws back his bow, takes a moment to aim, then fires and splits the arrow in half with his arrow.
Zeak: "Beat that!" *Jett smiles*
Sora stands up, picks up his bow and looks at Zeak and smiles.
Sora: Were you aiming at that thing or trying to build up the courage to ask it on a date? Let me show you how its done.
Jett fires a shot over the ledge while Sora is talking to Zeak
Jett: "Theres your shot!"
Sora whips around and draws his bow back, releasing an arrow at amazing speed. Sora's arrow snaps Jett's arrow in half. Sora fires again and snaps his arrow in half. He then fires an arrow into a rock on the other side of the ledge. His second arrow falls down directly on top of the arrow in the rock and splits it in half down the shaft.
Jett: "Daaaaaaaaamn..........." Zeak: "You win mister showoff!"
Sora turns to Jett and Zeak and the three bust out laughing
Sora: "Lets go get some food im starving."

_-*(Jekoza i'm going to borrow your style of RP because it makes it easier for multi persons under one control TY)*-_
Geno Walked through his thick security doors out into the bright sunlight. First thing on his list was to check his energy sources: nothing bad or special about them, so he set off. He was heading to a new destination this time, a part of the forest in the general vicinity he had not yet explored.
Aiming his left gauntlet he hooked onto a branch and swung up into the trees. From there he jumped from branch to branch until he reached the plateau that signaled the end of the "safe zone." From beyond this point the jungle got denser, darker, and increasingly dangerous. The Dwroan would only go to certain areas of these jungles that they knew were safe. Geno begins moving silently through the underbrush keeping an eye out for the dangers of the Dark Forest.

Sora, Jett, and Zeak were having some trouble finding food. Apparently the hunting parties hadn't captured anything and the gathering party hadn't even returned yet. Zeak had started to get a little hot with the guard at the mess hall when Sora decided to back off into an alley and leave them alone.
He was walking near the one entrance of camp when he saw her, a young women, probably from the gathering group, sprinting as much as she was capable of up the mountainside as if the devil were on here heels. Sora looked down farther and saw three bipedal plants crashing out of the dense foliage after her.
Without thinking on it, Sora unstrapped his bow from his back and dashed towards the girl. He was the fastest runner in the city, some said he could probably race on par with a Dwroan. He was about 300 yards away when he stopped and took aim. He released the first arrow, and incendiary shot created by a renowned inventor. The arrow zinged past the terrified girl and smashed into the face of the first monster and exploded. The liquid fire splashed all over the three monsters, two of which retreated beck to the forest. The third was not so lucky, as it continued to burn into ash.
Sora stood atop an outcropp while the rescue team ran down to aide the girl and the others that lay bleeding at the bottom of the mountain.
