Selene was the Greek goddess of the moon, who lit the human's night's with her silver glow. One fateful night, as she drove her silver chariot across the sky, catching the last rays of her brother Helios, she spotted a Shepard in his fields. She watched over him, night after night, till she decided she wanted to meet this boy. On the night of the new moon, when she was not needed to light the night, she traveled to meet this shepherd. she fell for this boy, who was named Edymond. When Zeus found out about Selene's love, he cast a spell over Edymond, sending him into a slumber from which he would never wake. Selene was devastated. She gave her lover a serum, one to keep him young forever. He would remain asleep, but frozen in youth. Selene made a voe to protect Edymond as well as the humans she watched. She gave her daughters for our protection from Zeus's anger. To this day, young girls protect us with there goddess powers, to fulfill there mother's wish.....
