Twilight is so overrated and has Bram Stoker flipping in his grave.The ''vampires'' are not true ones.Vampires do NOT sparkle! Does anyone else here possibly understand why Twilight is awesome to other people?

'cuz people need something to hate and almost all of the other vampire books are friggin' awesome. even Rosario + Vampire has some charms and don't get me started on Vampire Knight. Aido..... heart heart heart

The have preppy side to them thatwas turned on when Twilight came out. It has the perfect beautiful vampires. And the "Looks like she is on drugs" Bella.
And of course the basic theme is romance!

Not just romance, horrible romance. If you go by Edwards logic, anyone who smells nice and you can't read their mind is your soul mate. Plus if you notice from the movie, Edward says: "You're like my own personal brand of heroin", Which supports the fact that Bella, as well as her actor, is a druggie. So now it's the "Obviously on drugs" Bella.

They probably think that Edward is sooooo hoooottt. The guy's hideous. They love Ed's perfection, his cooking, his strength, his 'beauty', piano.... scream Dracula's much sexier. neutral I was first lured into the book when I found out it was a vampire romance. It seemed interesting. Then I actually read it. gonk

They love Edward Cullen. Basically because SM's character's are perfect. Fan girls think that EC loves them, and some even pretend they're Bella, which is dowright pathetic. In the movie, he is UGLY. In the books, not so much. Vampires don't sparkle, they're are nawt totally perfect. I think SM when borderline w/ the vampire myth and screwed it up. =/

It's not just their love for him, it's also their love of the book.
By that i mean, the actual "love" between edward and bella. they like the cliff hangers, the feelings that are described in the book they feel to, they pretend to be in bella's shoes because they are rejected by the outside world. but what I think is idiot is they call what those to fiction characters have is love, I mean, he leaves her how many times? >.> they are imbeciles.
