Blue rose sat on the ground near the water humming to herself softly, the pearl that Auroran gave her the first time they met in her palm with the sun reflecting off of it making it sparkle and shine. She smiled as she stared at the pearl's beauty in the sunlight. She sighs softly to herself looking around.

Auroran drifted slowly under water. He enjoyed blending in with the sea-greens and blues due to his natural color, but felt like being so ordinary held him back. No one was interested in such a plain guy.
The sweet sound of humming floated by his ears. He could almost recognize the voice, though being underwater it sounded rather unclear and bubbly. Sneaking upwards toward the shore, he peeked up a distance away from the creature.
A blue figure immediatly caught his eye.
Rose! She's here! She's by the shore again! He thought to himself gleefully.
"Wow! You really have a great voice!" He shouted, swimming quickly over to her, "It even sounded good underwater!"

Blue Rose giggles and smiles at him, before bending one leg and letting the other dangle in the water. PLacing her hand on her leg that had the anklet before smiling. "Well, thank you" she said. "its something i don't plan on sharing but thank you" she told him.

Auroran pursed his lips. If she didn't want to share then he wouldn't force her.
"That anklet seems really important to you. It may be just me, but you seem to always make sure it doesn't get damaged." Auroran pointed out the ring of flowers around her ankle. Maybe she grew them herself? Maybe he was reading too much into it?

"I just try not to get it wet too much...cause you know..they could drown" she told him. "normally I would put both legs in the water but this one i don't as much since..well they could drown and they are fairly pretty" she answered nodding her head.

"Yes... too much water would not be good. It could use some occasionally though, to make sure they stay healthy." Auroran did't know too much about flowers, but he knew about water. And recently, he had been learning a lot more about flowers due to the time he spent with Nymphs. He enjoyed them more than mer-people. He hoped... to have one as his mate. But did anyone feel for him like that?
Auroran stared at Rose thoughtfully. She had a couple of habits it seemed, but it didn't really bother him.

Blue Rose smiles at Auroran "that would be a good idea" she said dipping her other leg in the water letting the flower absorb some water. "anything new with you?" she asked tilting her head to the side a bit.

Auroran thought for a bit. "Well... I found a new coral reef recently... they have a lot of neat colors... reds, pinks, oranges..." He tried to picture it in his head as he spoke.
"I hope you can go there one day... It's not far from the surface, but it's quite a bit south of here."
Not forgetting to be polite, which was quite unlike himself, Auroran decided to return the question.
"What have you been up to lately?"

Blue Rose pondered to herself before answering "not much. to be honest" she said sighing a bit. "this coral reef sounds pretty..I would go with but i'm land bound" she said frowning a bit.

God I'm so stupid! Why would I ask her something like that when I know the answer? Of course she can't go with you, and now she probably feels bad!
"Same here I guess, but I'm water bound. I wish there was some way I could go see the gardens... maybe there's some type of pool or pond, but I don't know how I could get there.

Blue Rose looks around and looks at him "well, you can go without me" she said frowning a tad. "i'll be here when you get back" she told him smiling a bit. She took her leg out of the water.

"N-no, I don't want that." Auroran frowned at the gesture. "I can go any time I want. Right now is time to spend with you. And maybe... maybe I could create your own personal reef. If I pick some coral of each color, I could arrange them to look like a reef right here by the shore!" Auroran spoke playfully, his spirits uplifting. He wanted to give Rose whatever he could to make her happy.

Blue Rose looks at him and smiles "well if you do plan on creating your own coral reef, i'll help you manage it if you want me to" she told him nodding her head before giving him a hug.

Auroran was surprised by the hug, but it wasn't completely unexpected. Blushing slightly, he wrapped his long arms around her and hoped that she wouldn't mind getting wet.
"It'll be a grand garden and everyone will want to come and see..." he whispered lightly into her ear as they retained the hug for a moment longer.

Blue Rose smiles and hugs him back "I'm sure, it will be a good garden" she said before lightly nuzzling into his shoulder, as to not make it obvious. "yeah..they will" she finished
