In our prayers we muslims bow and prostrate to Almighty Allah. While we do so we have to face the holy kabba (it's in makka). Before we do our prayers, we need to perform wudhu so we can be pure. In our prayers there are these things called 'rakats' and... this is gonna be hard to explain...

Yes there is a specific way in making dua, and you can say them in your native tongue.

You can make dua anytime you want. You don't have to do it just in prayers. The best time to make dua is: During the prostrations in the last 3rd of the night...(before fajr) like around 2 suttem am and before fajr
of course anytime of making dua is still good just so long as you make it and do it properly!!

Also becareful as what you share online....If you have any personal problems don't vent them out here take it to the prayer rug and call on Allah and also go learn your deen. Remember the believer doesn't complain although they go through hardships in life. Continuing working on your character as this should help you apply the knowledge of the authentic sunnah + the quran. Surround yourself around righteous belivers, if you dont know any, make supplication to Allah for some, be specific in your duas to that's like saying becareful what you wish for and also be grateful.

Tyreal_Blizzard i got so many problem in my life I think we should be grateful if we still get ordeal from Allah. That mean Allah still loved us. You should remember that as long as people life, people will always get experience both in ordeal or problem form or in pleasure form. As far as I can see, many people that will pass the ordeal more peacefully than people that get a pleasure. It's not just you that have problem, everyone have it. The difference is how everyone deal with it. If you can be patient and firm when the problem near you and can be grateful when pleasure approach you, Insyaallah you will life in serene. You also should remember that every problem always have solve. And we must ask Allah for the solve. "Have We not opened your breast for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him))? And removed from you your burden, Which weighed down your back? And raised high your fame? So verily, with the hardship, there is relief. Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allahs worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations." Al Inshirah, 94: 1-8
