This guild rarely gets used any more.
So I am thinking of opening it up to more members, including a few non-Shinigami who have earned our trust and respect but who perhaps aren't interested in the clan.
I am hoping it will become a place of creation, sharing and discussion in a similar vein to the RC but more orderly.
So far my current ideas for it include basing it on a mansion or castle, with various subforums styled as rooms for different functions. For example:
Library/Study - Writing Forum
Drawing Room - Art Forum (It's a bad pun, I know)
Kitchen - RPs (Kitchen, because we'd be 'cooking up' ideas?)
Dining Room - Discussion/OOC talk (most good talk happens around the dining table after all)
Games Room - For various forum games, such as word games
Bedrooms - Private places for the owner to do anything (within the TOS of course). An idea for these is that anyone can donate the required amount of gold to create a new subforum and therefore buy themselves a room. They can do this individually or as a couple, or even part of a group. Or the other option is to simply have the Bedrooms subforum and each person/couple/group can make their own thread for free.
I'm looking for other suggestions as well, things I may have forgotten or might need to add.
So speak up everyone! Let me know who wants to be invited and any ideas you may have to help me build this new place for us all to play together. I have made the guild public, so you do not need to be a member to post at the minute, but that will change when renovations are complete and I set the guild back to private. Make sure you remember to join if you want to keep posting.
We also need a new name. We can't call it the War Room if it's going to be such a happy place.

I'd rather the bedrooms be bought so there's more of a 'hey! We worked hard for this!' feeling but that's just me.

I agree with Silver. And maybe we can save the money up for either further improvements and boards here and you won have to spend all your moneys, or maybe we could hold contests and stuff and use it as prize monies?

Hmm.
Perhaps. Might have an idea or two on that scale.
Might start with just a few forums to see how it goes before adding others. Like for now the discussion and the games can easily be combined together in a general OOC area. Was thinking of adding a study as well, for lessons, help and general assistance but again, can combine that into OOC for now.
Will probably start with the library, drawing room, kitchen and dining room.
Plus my office. But I need that. *laughs*
