✖ Backround info
Those who know of wolfs rain are usually serious anime fans. Though in the story they never explain why the wolves went exstinct and how they had the ability to change to a human form. This is about to change. Here you will start as wolves. Grow and learn how the art of deception. Some will live some will die. Can you escape?
✖History
In the past wolves roamed free. As generations past the numbers dropped as the humans rose to take over everything. Their towns and factories caused a world collapse. Leaving most of the world in desert chaos. With it went the wolves. Few survived. In the attempt to save them, humans begun to experiment.
✖Setting
In the desert. A cage ontop of a platue. Fences are too high to escape. The cliff drops kill the ones who want to escape. The human help isnt really helping. The wolves are turning on people or giving up. Born there and knowing nothing of free life.

Daily lives of the wolf
In this large cage, set high up from the ocean floor is a cage who keeps a pack of wolves in. Every week you are caught, taken away to a room full of lights. Bad things happen here. Wolves try to get away from this.
Females can become with child here. Shots are given. Physical exames. Sometimes even death with observations of your dead body. Interaction with humans is daily. Kindess towards the wolves are minimum.
In this world there are Chimeras and experimental animals sent to live with you aswel.

•The question of her life. Her white pelt was fluttering in the wind as she peered over the platue cliff. Chain link fence blocking her view. Outside the walls that contained her were a barren wasteland. The sky was always dark even in the sun. They were alone. Yes the facility with humans were there. But no one truely knew they were pent up inside a place so cruel and cold.... always cold Past all the humans and their metal machines was a land waiting for them. A land left.
•But was there anything there? Who knows. Akku rubbed her red markings with her paw. It hurt. They always did. She kept staring. Was this all that was left to the great race?
•As she was staring she felt a kick at her shoulder. She snapped and growled at its source. A human. She made the mistake and got its force again. A gun butt hit her back in the shoulder. She winced and cowered, like she was supposed to. She wasnt allowed to look outside the walls. Not when she escaped. They tried to keep her away. It never worked.

Link was watching over the Alpha. She seemed deep into thought. It was about feeding time. He was going to ask her to come. He should have. The humans probably wouldnt have found her staring past the 'gate' again. He couldnt do it though. He felt bad, though he himself didnt want to know what was past this enclosure.
"Come on Akku. Theres nothing there. The food is getting eaten as we speak. Pay none to the worthless humanoid." he tried to coax her as she was kicked and then hit. He didnt want her getting caged again. He hoped she would turn.
Link got his name from Akku. He had no name. He was born out of the pack here, but his mother died at birth and his father was dead before he was alive. He was called "the kid" for years. Until last year. Thats when Akku had taken notice of him. After he had killed the human. They caged him, beat him, and chained him. He escaped the compound but not the eclosure. Thats when he got his name Link. When the chains rattled on the ground. The humans didnt want to remove just incase they had to do it again.

•Akku flinched a bit at Link's voice. When the human yelled something at her that had come to mean meal time she turned as if she was ready to go. But she drug her feet to talk to Link. He was ever loyal, but in the confinement it wasnt like there was much of challenge. She hoped he would keep others from challenging her though. She didnt like killing her kind.
•"Your right Link. Lets go. Is it wolf stew on the menu?" she let her jokes slide through her meoncoly feelings at the moment. They always made fun of food. It was green slosh with mystery meat in it. Terrible stuff. But it kept them alive.

Ash stalked close to the ground, her unnaturally red and gold fur glittered in what light hit her, she hid in the shadows for the most part, keeping away from the humans and their evil toys. She flicked her ears when she saw Akku and Link, hesitating before slinking over towards them, sideways stepping, like a crab so as not to draw the attention of the two legged beasts. She stiffled a growl as one tried to shoo her along, her body bumping into the Alphaess's and she nearly fell sideways from startlement. The humans sketched her out. She hated them.
"Greetings."
Her voice was shaky, and her eyes glittered maliciously towards the humans. She shook out her fur and hurried to the slop they put out for them that was supposed to be a meal. She sniffed it before wolfing it down as fast as she could. She glanced around, finished before the others and her ears swivled. She eyed the humans who eyed her back suspiciously and lowered her head, minding her own buisness.    Why do we dream when our thoughts mean nothing?«--------------

June slinked quietly over to the food. It's fowl scent overwhelmed her sensitive nose. She paid close attention to where the humans were, avoiding them by taking the long routs around them. Staying low to the ground, June could practically feel the human's hawk eyes piercing her pelt. Slowly she sensed other wolves already at the food. She navigated herself around them and found a spot that wasn't taken. She forced her white snout into the slop and took large gulps of the stuff.
Kite walked directly down the center of the 'camp'. She had just recently been released from a cage again. If she kept this up, they would probably kill her soon.... but Kite couldn't care less. Kite ears flicked as she heard a human near her c**k his gun. She completely ignored him. She knew she just see the barrel of his gun following her every move. At her leisurely pace she approached the food and took a good spot. Kite watched in amusement as a blind fea quickly scooted over to give her more room.

Link nodded to Akku as they approched about the food choice. He sighed and lookd at the others. He soo laid his eyes on the blind one. She was mostly unmarked. White. and blind as a bat. The he let his eyes gaze upoun the Beta Female. She beautiful. So precious. As those thoughts lingered he didnt notice the human approch. Soon the tight wite was around his throat.
Link lept in unanticipation. He turned tightly to see what grapped him. Only to see the end of the gun comming into contact with his for head. Blood oozed from his new gash. But he was too kind to fight back. Link let down his guard and looked back at the others as they dragged him to the 'testing' rooms. It was normal here. But Link had a theory that they were doing more harm than good.

Shivia watched through her colored eyes. Shivia was a wonder of jelousy. She hadnt been tested like the others. Her markings were genuine to her. She was mostly normal compared to the rest. They envied her for her love. But then again Shivia was a suck up. The humans loved her. A favorite. The wolves hated and loved her. Her nature didnt allow hate to conspire for her. But to preserve herself, she became a seductive wolf. She had a strong will to live. She will live. Their envy was her gain.
Shivia heard the call for food. It was like mush. She looked at poor Link as he was dragged away. How desperatly she wished he chose her and not the Beta female. It was the only thing she envied.

•Akku looked at Ash. She just nodded. She was still dazed from before. She licked at the slopp at the ground. Not hungry. As she watched Link being dragged away she had to fight the urge not to attack the humans... again. She was natorious for attacking trying to keep those disecting hands off her pack mates.
•"I hate them dearly my friends." she said as she watched poor Link. He was only the first of this week. One by one they would be caught, tourtured, released. Over again. For only a weeks rest. That was hunting week. Soon it would come.

June froze mid bite and let her ears flick different directions rapidly. It was a sound that she was used to, the sound of wolf being drug over ground. She had heard the sound beneath herself many times before. Quietly she flicked her ears towards the other wolves and asked, "Who are they taking?" June couldn't find a scent missing.... but all she could smell was the slop.
Kite leaped away from the food and a growl exploded in her throat as she saw the wire tighten on Link. She did not move her eyes from Link, but behind her she heard the cocking of several guns. She knew that if she took one step more she'd be shot. Kite spat and turned away in disgust. She knew there was nothing she could do. He would be taken either way.

Scout growled in his throat as the humans took the male beta, his eyes turned to the beta female for half a heart beat. Scout was normal compared to the rest of them. So normal it was kind of frightening. He moved without thinking, launching at the human with a snarl. Bang It caused his head to throb, seering pain in his hip as a bullet buried itself into his body, before he bit the humans hand, making him drop the rope that was dragging Link. He growled softly, his hip burned and there was a few other places that oozed blood. where bullets had skimmed and knicked his skin. He huffed and yanked the rope from around Links throat, and dropped it at the humans foot, blood splattered the ground from both of them. The only reason he was still alive was because he had moved so quickly that the guns that had been trained on the beta, could not be trained on him before he had gotten to close, endangering another human was either very stupid or very smart. At the moment he wasnt sure. He gazed up at the human with a low growl in his throat, as though saying take me instead. He glanced at Link
"I would go, while you can."
Scout said through his panting. He laid on the ground, and the dumb humans took the hint and put the rope around him instead. His wounds would either be healed and stitched up, or they would kill him. He stood and walked agonizingly slow beside the human. He wondered if his sacrafice was worth anything. If Link would be safe for a bit.

June jumped, "What was that!?" She asked, her ears moving faster now. SHe crouched close to the ground, fearing the weapon she could not see. It was a foolish question really. June knew it was a gunshot, and she knew a bullet had hit someone. June crinkled her nose, the scent of blood assaulted her sensitive nose.
Suddenly a gun shot rang out and Kite swiveled so fast she almost knocked a wolf over. She saw Scout make a foolish sacrifice, earning him a gunshot wound and a free trip to that hell hole. She watched the whole agonizing scene while she forced herself not to move. It was very likely that she would be shot if she just ran towards the wretched human. The scent of blood lay thick in the air. After the human finally started to walk away with Scout, Kite very slowly started to walk over to Link. She stood tall before him, looking down with worry in her eyes. Slowly she lowered her head and nudged his side gently. "Link?" She whined, guns still lingered on her pelt.

Link growled at Scout. "It was supposed to be me!" he pleaded. They all would be caught eventually. Why did Scout have to do that? "The pup is foolish. But they will take the bullet out." he nodded at his own thoughts as he looked around at the terrified faces. "Kite?" he called in the confusion. Wanting her by his side.
