"Professor: Greetings, young trainer. My name is Professor Starla. If you would follow me, I will lead you to where you will choose your pokemon."
You follow the professor to a separate room, where a multitude of pokeballs are stacked. Professor Starla stops in front of a table with three pokeballs just sitting there. With a gentle smile, she throws each pokeball into the air, letting the pokemon out.
The first pokemon was very clearly a fire pokemon. It resembled a fox somewhat, with cute floppy ears and a narrow muzzle. Golden eyes blink curiously up at the trainer as it tilts it's head to the side. Small tufts of pure fire came from all four of it's paws. It's tail wagged behind him as he yelped a bit. "Pyrog!"
The second pokemon, on closer look, you saw was a water type pokemon. You could only tell by the way it squated like a from. It's skin was a sickly green, yet it's eyes shined happily. It's tail resembled bubbles. The first one was the biggest about the size of a normal human fist. The second bubble was about the size of a newborn puppy's head. The third was the size of toddler's fist. "Frogget!" It chimed happily.
The third pokemon, clearly a grass type from the small flower bud at the tip of it's tail, was unlike the other two. It stared at you with pale eyes, a milky blue color. It was a kind of lavender color, the kind of color you see just before the sun rises. "Flowrang!" It grunted, throwing it's head to the side dismissively.
The behavior of Flowrang made Professor Starla's smile broaden. "I don't suggest taking Flowrang, it still has much to learn about interacting with humans." She commented softly, looking at the grass pokemon with soft eyes. She turned to you, indicating any of the three pokemon. "Yet, it is your choice. Which of these pokemon do you wish to take?"
Another professor enters the room, his shaggy brown hair falling messily into his face. He smirked, shaking his head. "I think the child would like more information about them, Professor Star." He said, smirk widening. He approached you, his smirk turning into a grin. "Hello. My name is Professar Phoenix. Here is the information for each pokemon."
He pulled a small, purple rectangular thing from his pocket and held it up. "This is the Pokedex for the Ronah region." He explained, opening it and pointing it at each pokemon in turn.
From the Pokedex, a female voice listed the traits of each pokemon. "Pyrog, the fire fox pokemon. An adult Pyrog will be cautious around new acquaintances while a young Pyrog will happily play with you. Current attacks are: Tackle, tail whip.
"Frogget, the amphibian pokemon. Froggets are fiercely protective of those that are important to them. Current moves are Bubble, growl.
"Flowrang, the bud pokemon. Flowrang are survivors. They cluster together in the cold of winter, striving together to survive.
