╫Background Information╫

Son of the great Kazekage, Near was born to royalty. At age ten, a great war broke out between the Sand Village and the One Tailed Demon. The Seal had broken in the cave that held the great demon, and it had intentions to kill everyone in the village. Near's Father, the Kazekage, gave up his life to seal the demon inside of Near. Near's greatest friend and idol was destroyed because of him. In his dying will, Mr. Halo wrote that he wished for his son to go to a private academy for irregular students, which angered Near. Near was sent to the Academy and was quickly trained to kill.

In the academy, Near met one person in particular, who had the same powers as him. Aprilleros Inuzuka was that friend. They quickly bonded and were becoming closer and closer. Although Aprilleros was from the Mist Village, Near began to teach him the Suna Jutsu that he had learned as a child, this was strictly forbidden. In return for the Suna Jutsu, Near was taught to use animals as friends, and as weapons. He quickly caught a bird, and at that time, he was sure this would be his first pet. He was taught how to use powers with the animals in conjunction with the jutsu he already knew.

One dark day, Near was out teaching his friend this great jutsu, and his mom came to visit. As the mother snuck in, Near was unknowingly being spied on by the only family member he had left. A voice called him inside, and he was quickly stricken by fear. When near had set eyes on his mother, he was forced to tears, "Mother, why am I here. Why are you doing this to me?" That is what Near wanted answers for. His mother was under the control of another, the Akatsuki. The controlled mother went to stab her own son in the heart, and the demon inside awakened. At the time, he was not sure what was going to happen, but he ran away. His mother died shortly after for not completing the mission designed for her, but it was staged as suicide.

In the academy, the two friends shared the stories that lay within the walls of their village. Near was informed about the Akatsuki, and how they would search for power and greed, which struck him as very interesting. The demon inside of Near sturred at the word of Akatsuki, and Near took it as a sign to leave and join the Akatsuki. At age 21, he became the leader of the Akatsuki, leaving his friends behind and learning to hate. He took all of his learned jutsu with him to the Akatsuki and better trained himself, getting new animals, and new jutsu. It is unknown if Near plans to stay in the Akatsuki as the leader, for he himself has a demon. He had learned to hide the demon chakra in the academy, because of the fear he brought to everyone's eyes, so he was not afraid of the Akatsuki hunting him. Who knows what the future will hold for this undescribable and most powerful ninja.
