La Azteca is a medium sized restaurant specializing in Mexican food. Great place to go to get a meal, or just grab a drink at their small bar. The food is relatively inexpensive and worth every bit you pay for it.

Shirai Hikairi
Shirai had lead the way all the way to La Azteca, until they got to the door, that is. He hadn't really noticed that he had gone from holding Ichirou's arm, to holding his hand instead. Blushing brightly, he dropped the taller man's hand and pushed his way through the door. "C-C'mon." he demanded, trying to hide his bashfulness as usual.

Ichirou had been very much enjoying the walk there, butas soon as they arrived in the restaurant, bashfulness got the best of the red heaired teacher. "Awww," the librarian teased playfully, "Now my hand is cold."
Walking up to the hostess, he leaned on the podium and boldy declared, "Yes, I'd like a table for two please. Me and my hot date," he emphasized this with an eyebrow wiggle, "here are looking forward to a great night." The hostess giggled and led them away to their table.

Shirai Hikairi
Shirai chose to ignore Ichirou, at least until he called him his 'hot date'. His blush deepening, he pushed gently at the librarian as they were lead to their table, an embarrassed pout on his face. "I'm not a 'hot date'..." he mumbled.
The red head was a bit surprised, and a little nervous when he saw that the giggling hostess had lead them to a secluded table, near the back. Sitting down, he fidgited with one of the menus that the woman gave them. Why would they need a secluded area?

Ichirou flipped through the menu, mouth watering already. Had it really been that long since he'd eaten? Yes. Yes it had. He glanced at Shirai over the top of his menu and chuckled aloud without meaning to. The guy was a riot! How old was he, and he was still freaking out over a casual dinner like this? He must not get out much. Priceless.

Shirai Hikairi
Shirai looked at the menu, calming himself down. He wasn't used to going out with people, since he was avoided alot. Sure he had some friends throughout his life, but they tended to be busy, so the red head kept to himself more often than not.
Tilting his head to the side a bit, the mathematician didn't know what he should get. Everything looked good. Glancing up over his menu, his bright blue eyes reguarded Ichirou curiously. "What do you want to get?" Shirai asked conversationally.

"I'm thinking these enchiladas with mole sauce look pretty good to me right now." Ichirou said, gesturing at the picture on the menu. After a moment, his sly grin widened. "Not as good as you, of course." Chalk another one up for the smarm-master.
"What do you think you're going to get." Ichirou asked back. "And sorry, but I'm not on the menu." He added with a wink.

Shirai Hikairi
Shirai blushed and ducked back behind his menu. "That sounds good." he said, his voice a little loud. "I think I'll get a chicken quesadilla..." the red head said, scratching his chin. He wasn't used to having some one hit on him so openly, so he didn't know what to say in return...

Ichirou smiled at Shirai's reaction, as usual. Too cute for his own good, that guy was. It was surprising he didn't seem used to other people noticing it as well. "Sounds good to me." He added aloud. Setting his menu down, he leaned back in his chair. "So, Shii-chan, how's the job been treating you? Any over affectionate student I need to fight off?"

Shirai Hikairi
Shirai made a face. "If there was I'd be able to handle it myself." he said, his blush darkening just a smidgen. "Its been fine so far... The same disinterested teenagers who spend more of their time griping than actially listening to my lessons. There are a few that actually like math, but I guess that that's expected..." the red head sighed then. It was a bit depressing to think about for him, since besides playing sports, math was another thing that spent alot odlf his pent up energy.

"At least there are some kids interested, right?" Ichirou replied. "I'm afraid I've never been a huge fan of math, myself. Good at it, but never a fan." He grinned slyly. "Though, I could always learn to like it, with the right teacher."
The waitress came over and took their orders, removing their menus and promising the momentary arrival of drinks.

Shirai rolled his eyes at Ichirou as the waitress took his menu, directing a small smile toward her as a thank you. "What kind of student would you be, I wonder." he said, somewhat flatly.

Ichirou smirked. "I was either reading in the back or arguing with the teacher because they'd get stuff wrong. Sometimes I'd even turn my work in." He would never claim to be the best student. Even though he was smart, he'd been content to skim by on the average level. Less work, more play.

Shirai Hikairi
Shirai actually laughed, it was a small, sort one though. "I kind of suspected something like that... I was always the class nerd." he said, making big circles aroung his eyes, like glasses. "I used to wear really big, thick glasses like this." The red head remembered how owlish they made him look, and he remembered that they were the reason why he didn't have any romantic experiences in high school. It didn't matter that he was also a jock, he was still just what was considered undesirible.

Ichirou chuckled. "I wouldn't mind seeing that. I bet you were a cute nerd." He liked nerd, they were so bashful and fun to tease. Plus, it was surprising how wild they could get once they opened up. "I was always some kind of weird bookish rebel. Bringing my BL novels to school..." He grinned, thinking of how he still does that.
