Well...I pretty much know everything about Aion as far as game mechanics, so feel free to ask away. I don't however know late game specifics about mundane things like "where can I gather lv.40 herbs the best?" I know about pretty much everything else ranging from how to best equip your character, to the mechanics of gliding (yes, there is more to it than hitting your space bar).

Below is a list of "FAQ" questions I think might be useful.

Q:Is the game going to be any different than the beta?

A:Yes, there will be slightly more character customization options, loads of dungeons/instances will be added, higher level cap of 50, and more areas to explore.

Q:What class is the best?

A:OMG...every class right now is really good at something...except assassins I think...in pvp they even get killed by casters...it's kind of sad, but I'm sure this will balance out by higher levels...I hope. If you want to know what class is specifically good at a certain thing, then please ask.

Q:What race is good, so I can pick the good guys?

A:Either the Elyos nor the Asmodians are "evil." Both races are trying to protect their kind. Heck, the Elyos didn't even know the Asmodians survived the catastrophe at the tower of eternity until like a thousand years later, they just got lucky in that their half of the planet was blessed with sunlight. The only real difference in personality is that the Asmodians are more war-like than the Elyos.

Q:What is stigma?

A:Stigma is something your character gets as you level up. You start off with one at level 10, and build up to a maximum of five at level 50. You can use stigma shards to insert things called "stigma stones" into your stigma slots...still with me?...ok, stigma stones each contain a different ability (145 different stigma stones exist that I know of), you can put almost any classes stone in one of your slots, effectively enabling you to be a warrior that can cast spells, or an assassin that can use the defensive abilities of a templar.

Q:Can I join your guild oh lord of all amazingness?

A:First of all it's a "Legion" and you have to fill out an application to join, we do filter members, but getting in is totally worth it, we have every resource any good guild could ever ask for.

Just wondering but did you try out changing the looks of your armor with the skinning stuff in town? I'm about to try it out once i turn lvl 25 in beta this weekend.

it's the coolest customization system I've EVER seen. You can take any item you think looks cool, and put the stats of an awesome fugly item and put them in the cool item (as long as they are the same type, like they both would have to be 1h swords, or both gauntlets).

Aside from that there is the dye system, which lets you change the color of ANY piece of gear that you can equip! I'm not 100% sure on earrings and necklaces...but I'd be totally awesome if you could, cause the pre-order gift earrings glow white...so having glowing black earrings would be totally awesome, and on top of that, you could always re-skin them to your next ones!

Yeah it's very impressive I'll have to say it's the best I've ever seen. I really want to try out the re-skinning of my armor, the dye's i've played around with a lot, I'm waiting for gold dye to come out XD

I love this feature, because you could be wearing your complete set of noob gear, but have the best stats in the game XD This also helps RP a lot, because people can have a character that always uses a specific item(like a wooden sword, which I'm thinking of doing btw, lol).

"... is that the legendary sword make from the wood of the kaka tree" he says gasping and stumbling backwards as the power that surging from the Bo-ken weakens his knees.

That's really cool you can keep a set of armor you get attached to if you don't find anything you like better biggrin

How are Chanters? I get the impression their primary focus is buffing with a little bit of healing but it sounds like the buffs are pretty powerful? Or should I stick with a Cleric? I get the impression Chanters may be a little weaker solo but I don't mind since I'm playing to support a friend who I think is a mage.

actually chanters are stronger while soloing compared to clerics. don't quote me on this but I think they have "de-buffs" for opponents and AoE attacks.

I think Sorcerors are supposed to be great at PvP? I hear a lot of people say Spiritmasters are kinda meh, like they do a lot of things so aren't well focused. I'd still play one though since I like using pets.

I didn't know Chanters also got debuffs, that's good to know 3nodding

So far Scouts are a disappointment to me, their damage doesn't outweigh getting smacked up all the time and having to super heal themselves, and the fact their hide ability is on a cool down. Gah its annoying, cause if you get caught with all your cool downs on a monster that does the iron clad thing, your screwed... @_@

I guess you need to play with backup on a Scout. I found it the most annoying class to start out as so far although I'm interested in Ranger. Playing with a friend has made things a lot easier. We whipped through most of the early stuff with him as a Mage and me as a Priest, I think its one of the easiest starting combos. I'm playing a Warrior with his Scout though I'm not sure how useful I'll be. Warrior is also hard early on, you're squishy and only have a couple attacks.
